Publisher's summary

Zach Riley is a man on the run… from something, or someone, that he just can’t figure out. What, pray tell, might that be? Women who are around him want to jump him, and get him into bed. But Zach can’t figure out why! He simply can’t take it anymore, so he escapes, taking refuge in his own spaceship and he never, ever, leaves it. But his comfortable, if lonely, lifestyle is suddenly thrown into chaos. Little does he know that he has nanobots inside him, that are controlling his pheromones. That’s what made women desire him so much!

One issue: these Nanobots? They’re illegal. And anyone found with them is hunted and killed, so as to prevent the universe from ever going through another Nano War. As such, Zach is pursued by the authorities. With the help of his ship’s AI, he tries to escape an almost-certain death sentence. However, as he’s fleeing to another dimension where he knows he will be safe, a God snatches his up ship during the transfer. Things never go as planned, do they? And now that God is asking Zack to help bring true magic back to his realm.

Will there be consequences for doing this? Probably. But at the moment, Zach has no idea what they could be. Rewards? Sure. What are the requirements? Well, it necessitates sleeping with a bevy of beautiful women who aren’t human, but who are just as stunningly gorgeous as their human counterparts. One of the rewards will be to have riches beyond his wildest dreams… if he grabs that brass ring and goes for it. Zach needs to teach magic to others, but first, he needs to start with women. It’s a good thing that Zach has no problem being with women—lots of women—human or otherwise. Because, in this dimension, aliens are the norm, and here, he is the alien. To the women of this world, that makes him quite exotic.

Join Zack as he learns that the Nanobots inside him make him very unique in controlling energies, including Magical ones. One day, that particular ability may let him restore something that has been lost for eons.

(This series contains the unabridged text, mayhem, Alien women, Monsters, and battles. This Gamelit is sure to please)

can AI not do math?

ok I really don't get what others are saying about bad narration it's actually pretty good to save for the "system" voice now that's just BAD.

Good story with a few... ok quite a few wrf moments where it was suddenly like the characters forgot what the did a chapter or 2 ago. That is until u reach the base segment and you get the author, Mc, and AI just being stupid.

First the AI math .... 27 points of life regened at 1 point every 5 min will take 10hrs....... ahhh no 10her=120 life points not 27. please for the love of God if ur going to put an AI in a story at least check the bloody math. then the author has the mc spend 9hrs sleep healing just 15 points and only an 1.5hrs for the other 11.... I know it's weird but it really threw me out of the story.

Second the Mc gets stone shaping and can't figure out how to take a shower? and it keeps going from there it's like he can't even use basic logic from this point forward. he gets OP powers and doesn't even unlock them all....and uses the ones he does unlock in beyond the dumbest ways possible.

I really liked the start of the book and the premise even the magic/tech dichotomy was kinda cool. But the last 10% of the book means I'll probably never pick up the next book. It was so bad I had to force the last hr just to finish.

5 stars

Another great book by D Levesque. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life.

What is going on in these reviews!?

Sigh... Where do I begin? Ok first off I like the premise, was a decent idea that would have been nice to see go somewhere. As for the story... it's mediocre not bad, but not great.

I have three main issues with this story

1. The dumb questions. Dumb questions seem to be common in many stories like this for some reason, but this one really struck me. The characters will ask a question with an obvious answer, then later in the story they will ask pretty much the same question as if they never asked it in the first place. I could forgive once or twice but this happens constantly!

2. The contradictions. There are more than a few times in the story where the lore contradicts itself in some rather significant ways.

3. The main character is an idiot. Despite supposedly being genre savvy and an advid consumer of fantasy and games the MC never leverages this. He always so surprised and on the back foot, oh and let's not forget he supposed to be like 60 or 70 years old yet he acts like a fresh out of the womb teenager.

So having written all this I seriously have to wonder... Who is writing these reviews!?

Can't recommend it.

Freels very half baked.
Spoilers:
AI controlled ninite magic is rudimentary and simplicity. I guess its to make it game like? The MC shows little intelligence or subtleness. But i guess haveing a god mind wipe all your fsux pas makes life easier.

very good

This story is actually a lot more story based than it sounds. The description makes it sound like a stroke story, but in actuality only has a few spicy scenes and is a great book with story progression.

Irresistible

What do you do when women everywhere find you simply irresistible? You hide in your own spaceship, but the world has something else in store for him.

Good beginning.

Pretty good overall. I will say that I found the male voices in my head while reading, were better than the audio version. That's just my personal opinion. The female voices were much better than my mind could produce (I guess that's my lack of voice imagination). The pacing was pretty good as well. So, now I'll give you the bad. There was nothing that really stood out as exciting or that grabbed me and made me feel like I had t get the next book in the series. I was a solid story and listening experience. I'll probably grab the next one because I'm curious to see what happens next.

first things first.

the male va is terrible. second. energy power is redundant and third this is set up to be an op Mc from the start without any challenge or growth to the characters. not the worst I've listened to but it's close
