With the help of an enigmatic ghostly cultivator, he must battle against the Moon itself. Meanwhile, a strange curse begins to take hold of the city. Red and his companions conduct an investigation that leads to a place that Red left behind long ago.

But the threat is far more sinister than anyone realizes, and Red and the Water Dragon Sect are in its crosshairs.

It’s a foe beyond anything Red has ever faced—and his greatest test yet.

Story is great and never slows down throughout the entirety of book! So far one of the best of the series.

Action never stops

I will usually get tired of a series by the 4th book. this is one book series that has kept my attention throughout. It has a small slowburn property to the character growth, and the MC pisses me off sometimes with how he mistrusts people,, but hes right a lot of the time , so its easy and exciting to follow. The characters in the series are all explained pretty well, and the MC is a bit over powered but not by anything he's done. The narrator has a hitch in his talking where he puts a D at the end of some words that dont have one, but thats a small problem. I do love this series, and I cant wait for the comeback of some characters.

Good Progression Series.

I miss the days when novels didn't end on a cliffhanger. Bring on the next one.

Another cliff hanger

I never expected to be so engaged with this story while the protagonist still hasn't advanced to the point to open his spiritual sea but I love the ways he is able to fight back against all the monsters, stronger cultivators and undead throughout this story so far. I love all the side characters from the sect and im afraid to say goodbye to them and yet at the same time I'm also very excited to see how Red and Allen will grow from here on out I want to see both these boys advance as they watch eachothers backs. I want to see wherever our Nameless Author wants to take them in this world that has gotten more dangerous due to the events in this book. I'd love to see if Allen and Red keep their friendship throughout what happens next or maybe they will turn to rivals or even enemies once Red officially rejects being a part of the sect to maintain his inheritance. in short I'm super excited for the future of this series.

An additional note I noticed and wanted to talk about is how his training effects the magical strength of lightning and wind elements. I really like that his training has effected the magic he interacts with and hope to see more uses of it in the future.

I loved our how his ghost companion interacts with red and shes quickly becoming a favorite. I think I have rambled long enough but there is still so much I wanted to comment on but I think I will save everyone the lengthened version of my rambling. to whoever read all this thank you very much and I'm sorry, have a great day!

I love this series.
