and decided to see how he was as an author. Unique story line. Hoping for more

entertaining

I enjoyed this mystery. I guessed the ending correctly early on, but it didn't lessen my enjoyment of the adventure. Frankie was quite the likable character and I liked seeing him grow up and deal with life in his own unique ways. I think they would have made an unstoppable duo in later years. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Pickpocket Frankie was a fun read. It had a little bit of everything in it, humor, adventure, mystery, and yes even a little romance. This in my opinion was an enjoyable quick summer read, and it's a story I would definitely listen to again.Oh, and Roberto Scarlato did a great job narrating.

Intriguing!!

This book was very interesting. I must admit I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.
Roberto has a way of telling a story both as an author and a narrator that just has you drawn in from the beginning.
This story takes you on a journey of a young boy as learns to overcome and adjust to overwhelming obstacles through adulthood. Many unexpected turns along the way.
Narration was absolutely amazing.

Oh Frankie! You had me at go and kept me throughout!

Abandoned and left to fend for himself, Frankie has no choice but to talk a good game and resort to … illegal ways to survive. When those more nefarious than he take his ill gotten gains, Frankie’s forced deeper into danger, and it’s no more easy pickings for “Pickpocket Frankie”! Highly entertaining, character driven, and fabulously narrated BY the author, “Pickpocket Frankie” is a fantastically fun listen! I loved the story, and I loved the way everything played out! Initially, I felt so bad for young Frankie, yet so proud of his ingenuity and independence! I have to say, I fell hard for Frankie! I loved his attitude, wit, personality and sense of humor! All of the characters created by the author are stunning! There are so many, they are so diverse, and I loved that with some, I was kept guessing nearly to the end as to their true natures! The story itself also kept me guessing. I loved the intrigue, the mystery, the suspense, the nice bit of romance, the “feel” created by the author and enhanced by his masterful narration, his perfect timing. I was completely delighted by the fitting and proper conclusion that left no loose ends, no unanswered questions, just the feeling of perfect satisfaction one gets after listening to a five star performance! I loved “Pickpocket Frankie”!
