Would listen to again.
I love the whole feel of this audible production. It feels like the old radio shows. It was interesting and fun to listen to. I gave it a four star overall because I was slightly disappointed in the ending. That being said, I would listen to it again.

Worth a shot
Ok, so I read the series over view and immediately thought, this is MY kind of story. I will say that every episode leading up to the finale was great. The performances and story developed as well as it could. The downfall for me came in the last episode. While I won't spoil the outcome, I will say it was not good; simply put. I had a very hard time following the "theory" surrounding the death of Anna and didn't walk away feeling completely confident in what was presented. To add to my stress, lol, there was another twist that occurred which made me think...what in the heck is going on here? And commentary in the last few minutes that I guess "brought" it all together, but left me with even more questions. Maybe another podcast is coming? I'd listen just because I'm committed to closure on this title. I say this to say, listen to it. It's enjoyable, took me less than a day (driving in LA traffic does that).

Bad Acting, Fun Mystery
This is not a book to read if you are looking for amazing writing and excellent acting. The story has a lot of plot holes and the dialogue is contrived. All of the acting is horrible, over-acted and not at all believable. However, like a trashy TV show, it sucked me in. Around episode 4 or 5 the mystery starts heating up and I couldn’t help but stick around to find out the ending. I am not a fan of cliffhanger endings, but I was mostly satisfied at the end. Don’t expect too much and this book is a fun, relatively quick listen akin to a guilty pleasure true crime show.

Not realistic
I started out thinking this was a story about a real woman. After 3 or 4 episodes, when it got a bit too theatrical, I read the description again and found there was no mention of “true story.”
So, as a work of fiction, it started out okay. The whole podcast idea was interesting, makes it feel more real at the beginning. As a student journalist, Melissa takes logical first steps. But later, when she gets spooked, she behaves too irrationally for a journalist. Really, she should have tried to find out the source of the sounds, and not just “freak out” every time she heard them. Not very good reporting, and out of the character established at the beginning.
I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but this reminded me too much of the Blair Witch Project.

Nicely done!
I love how this was done. Melissa Lopez is a San Diego California girl in college in Europe. She gets involved with a missing student Anna and as a class assignment starts a podcast interviewing everyone who knew the missing student. Each episode the story left me hanging, wanting more.
As the story progresses it gets more mysterious with a paranormal twist. This is the first time I've listened to an sudio with several voice actors and I really enjoyed it. They were all really good and played their parts well. The story is genius and each episode made me curiouser and curiouser. I would definitely reccomend this for anyone who loves mystery and plot twists.

Interesting end of the series
The end of this series kind of reminds me of something that you would see from "Scooby Doo" in that the main character spends almost the entire time explaining out everything while the two people actively deny every piece of proof. I think it was actually a pretty good series in all, just takes a little bit of time for it to get going.

Great story, but...
I would have given this story a much higher story rating, however, the timeline, as it applies to Amna's death and Melissa's narrated time of involvement versus her recorded time stamps are not consistent throughout the story
