Such a Great Resource

I highly recommend this audiobook! Asking for help from others can be a daunting prospect for even the most self-assured people. The author has written a well-researched book that guides the listener towards the power of healing all around you. The author uses this book to help so many that may be struggling, to ask for help and to know that it is a sign of strength and maturity to reach out for help not weakness or something to be stigmatized. This is a must listen.

Amazing!

This book was an inspiration and amazing to listen to. As someone who is a massive proponent of seeking out counseling, it definitely was refreshing to listen to Rachel's story. In one year, our son saw 11-15 counselors until he felt comfortable, don't give up if you are frustrated finding a counselor you click with; it's important in overcoming life obstacles. I still seek out my counselor once a month; I look at it as preventative, and if I need more than that, I up it. This book was easy to listen to, and I loved the scriptures throughout Rachel's book. Definitely worth your time to listen!

Great, Powerful Read

This book speaks to me in every way. The author's personal stories are so close to home that she is open and honest about all of her experiences and her quest to find God. She is absolutely correct when she talks about how easy it is to fall back into old habits and lose our way, but we must maintain our faith. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to others!

Great Story

I think weve all seen a counselor at some point in our lives. When do we finally get the point in our lives though of health? What does it take?

This is a personal story of a mom doing what it takes to be clean, be healthy, raise her kids, and let God in.

There are also many quotes from scripture throughout the story that helped her in the process. Great listen if you've been through struggles and need a boost

Much needed boost of confidence to make that call

I have struggled in my recovery to speak to anyone about how I feel and this audible was great at giving me the confidence to make that first step. Having struggled with AA before, and being very much an introvert, I have found it difficult to convey how I feel or even make the first step to seeing anyone. I have since started counseling with an addiction therapist and this audible was the key to helping me take that first step. Highly recommended.
