Understanding Scheana more than ever

Listening to Scheana share some of her deepest and most personal experiences has really given me an entirely new appreciation and understanding of the woman she is. From the tea spilled to the painful and difficult moments, this memoir was amazing and I could not stop listening. Thank you Scheana for being so transparent with your fans. 🫶🏻

It is a good easy listening that may tempt you to listen listen in one sitting.

I was not expecting this.

As a VPR fan, I got this book expecting a little back view into Scheana and the life she lived on a reality show. Wow, was I surprised and I binged this in 2 day. what she delivered was a raw unfiltered look into her life; letting the good and the ugly hang out. She was honest in they way she told her story, knowing the narrative can be spun in terrible ways. Yet, she pushed through her fears. Sharing about her experiences with cheating and being cheated on, was a big insight into the woman she is. It also explained alot about what she was actually experiencing in the final season of VPR. it all makes so much sense. Cheers to you Ms. Shay for showing vulnerability is bravery. Well done.

Perfect beach listen

started listening to this while sitting at the beach and then continued throughout the day, Scheana does a perfect job of making you feel her emotions throughout and was a perfect narrator. Her blend of self awareness borderline at times self deprivation along with self acceptance is great and I have a newfound appreciation and respect for her. Great memoir and introspection.

Was embarrassed to buy it but ended up loving it

I definitely went into this with a less than favorable impression of Scheana based on what I’d seen on tv. But this was a very authentic, vulnerable, and thoughtful book. I now see her as a human. Flawed, insecure, courageous, introspective.

Just WOW! 5 Stars – Honest, Moving, and So Worth Reading

I finished Schenea Shay’s book in just two days—I couldn’t put it down. As a fellow Taurus, I smiled at the little things (like our moms both singing Helen Reddy songs), but what truly pulled me in was her honesty with situations and events not seen through a camera lens.

She opens up with such vulnerability about motherhood, the challenges of marriage, people-pleasing, her mental and physical health, and what it has meant to truly find herself in moments that steered her throughout her life. Her reflections go far beyond the world of reality TV and into something much deeper and more human.

The strength it takes to be this open is admirable, and it made every page feel personal and real. This book is raw, relatable, and full of heart. Wishing her, Brock, Summer Moon and her family nothing but love and light—this was an in-depth, dramatically telling, but most of all and most important, a beautiful read that leaves me hoping there will be another book if she so chooses to do another one!
