"Reading" this again before her new book comes out. First time, I read the book myself, this time through was even better hearing Ronda tell her own story.

Confident And Revealing

This is a review later in the game, so of course at this point anyone would be curious to hear her thoughts on life and the future given her last couple of fights. Nevertheless, her story is compelling to say the least.

Great story of sacrifice, hard work and dedication

I loved hearing about Ronda’s upbringing, judo and MMA career. I was amazed by how much she had to give to achieve the success she had. She articulates it very well and very honestly. If there was no Ronda Rousey, women’s MMA would not be what it is today. My only criticism is this book was written too early. It was finished before her 2 devastating losses and retirement from MMA. Before her beginnings the WWE, marriage and motherhood. I want to hear about that!

completely changed my opinion of her

I never really liked her. when my daughter was going through some struggles, I looked for a book that could possibly give her a strong female to look up to. I don't follow many sports, but I've always enjoyed MMA. I bought my daughter the book, and then listen to it myself through Audible.
I did not stop listening to this book every time I got in the car for 3 days. she might be a little over-the-top dramatic at some parts when she tries to act them, her accents are horrible, and I completely loved every minute of it. Ronda Rousey gives you such a vulnerable look into her life, promotions, and her unrelenting desire to win.
If you are looking to be inspired to achieve your best, this is a book for you.

I appreciate that Ronda Rousey is not a perfect person, and this memoir shows that. She’s not humble, she’s stubborn, and she hasn’t made the best decisions. The way she narrates this makes an already great book, amazing. I highly recommend this book if you like well paced realistic action and poignant narration
