It’s a good book, but…

Honestly, it’s very well written, generally speaking. but contrived in a lot of ways. I lost interest after the big argument because at the end of the day, IMO, Elsie completely overreacted and never truly had her “ah ha” moment and owed Ginny a lot more than the half assed apology and some flowers. Truly, I was excited about this book up until they came back from the trip and then everything that came after was so lack luster, it was hard to care about their relationship anymore.

Beautiful Friends-to-Lovers Romance

I’ve been looking forward to this book, and the author and narrators did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful and spicy friends-to-lovers romance that I will definitely re-read/listen to.

Loved the story between 2 best friends. The narration was outstanding imho. Will look for more from these narrators.

So steamy

Hot, engaging, well written would reread this one over and over. Highly recommend. Couple gross parts but each their own. lol

Great characters!

I really liked this book, it was a little bit predictable, but I still loved it anyway, and I especially love that it had a non-binary character in a leading role in a romantic relationship!

Spicy

Confused about how a guy that sells vacuum cleaners was able to afford a 2c diamond ring and book a week at an all inclusive resort for a honeymoon. Guess that’s what makes it fiction. But maybe it should fall under the fantasy category instead. Not sure why there were 2 narrators either. Unnecessary. Overly spicy, but otherwise ok.

Great story. Really liked how it started and the spice was off the chart. I understand the importance of the 3rd act breakup, however there needed to be more after the reunion.

Okay, if you live in Minnesota and go on a romantic "honeymoon" to Santa Lupita with your best friend that you're secretly in love with... obviously sexy things are going to happen! (Yes, with consent of course, or in this story, clear communication of what she wants)

Wonderful friends to lovers

This was a fun unique friends to lovers romance. The narration was well done for all characters… the doubt, elation, and sexual desire were realistically read. I will be listening to this cute hot love story about growing individually, being honest with yourself, and not being afraid to ask for what you want again and again

Cute but awkward at times

The books excels beyond its somewhat tropey premise. I enjoyed this book, even though some of parts of the story felt a little stilted.
