What is Ayahuasca?
Ayahuasca is a South American psychedelic tea that is made by combining two plants found in the Amazon. You may may know of ayahuasca by its nickname, ‘the spirit drug’, it’s active ingredient DMT or from Joe Rogan constantly talking about it, brazilian jiu jitsu and eating elk. Ayahuasca has been consumed for centuries by tribes in South America for their spiritual effects. Early research on this drug has seen it possibly helpful in treating PTSD, depression and anxiety disorders.
