Great audio experience

The reader, Cliff, is amazing! He has quickly become my favorite narrator! He pulls me in and does some amazing voices.

sweet and endearing

this series never disappoints an excellent illustration of life and it's struggles five stars across the board

awkward

This one was really awkward to read/listen to and the entire book revolved around it without any focus on magic, fighting, adventuring, or anything of the sort. Rudy seemed to be becoming more "normal" and marriage seemed like it might hasten it further, but instead other creepy ideas have entered his and slyphies thoughts. The author seems intent on making the MC as awkwardly flawed as possible in nearly every situation, which at least means he'll never become a Mary Sue... but at this point I might not even mind it.
still, there's no way I'd dropped this series over such minor reasons, and it just shows how well done the character growth arc is over such a long period of time, I mean.. he really did have a lot to overcome and learn after what he became in his previous life and having such little life experience despite such a longer life.
also, it's really fun to finally be reading new material that the anime hasn't covered yet.

Easily one of my favorites in this series.

This one covers Rudy’s first wedding up to Norn and Aisha arriving at his house. As much as I love going over the books again like this, I must admit that some times it’s odd that the narrator would use a different voice for the same character. I must admit it was nice that the narrator had changed to a more manly voice for Luke cause the last novel he sounded like a geek; normally I would not mind since I don’t like Luke as a character (who is a love to hate character). But he is definitely not a character who I would picture having that kind of voice. I am hoping that in the anime season three they catch us up with Eris the same way they did with Sylphie. Personally, like how the books did it and the catch up episode with Sylphie really left a lot out; hopefully Eris doesn’t get the same treatment.

well I was really waiting for this volume specialy when they release vol.11 first 2 days earlier but finally it here.
