I like my cozies cozy, and unlike some recent exponents of the genre, this series has coziness in spades! I look forward to many more offerings by this author duo.

I love the Julia Bird series! Perfect cozy mysteries and the characters are relatable and interesting. The narrator has a lovely voice and I enjoy listening to her story telling. Plus, there’s all delightful quirky bits with Jake the dog! What’s not to love. Please keep writing the Julia Bird series!

Great mystery

Another good addition to this series. Julia and Sean are growing in their relationship. The village characters remain engaging and the mystery intriguing. So glad I stumbled across this series. Read beautifully by the narrator.

One of the best cozy murder mysteries out there in a series

I absolutely and thoroughly have enjoyed Julia Bird and her cozy little life filled with intrigue, excitement love and cozy murder mystery. The series is so enjoyable. I’m chomping at the bit for the next book to read in the series. The characters and the storyline cohesively all fit together in a fun story, but keeps you entertained and intrigued.

Consistently reliable lead character

I really enjoy that the lead character isn’t always getting into trouble, that she can figure out key pieces of the puzzle without doing something stupid. I like that I can just like her character, that she is respectable and that the other characters respect her.

I like these books. I never guess the end and I like books about women my age or older. Highly recommend!
