Publisher's Summary

I haven't seen him in six years...now we're married.

When my best friend asked me to serve as her Man of Honor, of course I said yes. A trip to Vegas for the week before her wedding and then on to the Florida Keys for the nuptials was an added bonus. The icing on the cake was her brother, Colt.

I didn't expect anything to happen. He's almost 10 years older, aloof, mysterious, and devastatingly handsome. All the time I spent fantasizing about his powerful muscles, piercing eyes, hungry mouth, and grasping hands leave me tongue-tied and stammering every time I see him. I can't hold a conversation with him without picturing my hands running down his taut stomach to that perfect muscular V to grab at his belt buckle.

Then one night the music was pulsing, the beat was pounding, and the next thing I know I'm in bed with my dream crush for a wild night of consequence-free pleasure.... Almost. There's just that little problem of a drunken ceremony at an all-night wedding chapel just off the Strip and what happens after we say "I do"....

Contains mature themes.

Delightful Gay rom com

I went into the audiobook blind solely based on the narrators because I like them and I was not disappointed. Stephen sounded delightful as the younger man with a crush on his bff’s older brother and NML growly voice gave the lead who is fighting his demon the anguished tone he needs. Overall the book has many light moment but the pacing drags at some point. Overall it’s worth my credit.

Self absorbed tropes and chichés

I did not like this book. I have listened to many gay themed books, some more story driven and some more about the sex, and some down-right raunchy. While the story was a problem, I had a larger issue with the performance and the performers. I thought the performers were to robotic in their readings and the pacing of narration to quotes was bad. I also thought the voice for Colton was off. The voice seemed barely real. We get that he’s a big masc military man, but both the performance of Colton and the voice of Colton by Julian was, in my opinion, over the top.

The story also left me wanting more everything. I thought The interactions between characters was shallow. And the rich family scenarios were just in my face. As if they weren’t unrelatable enough, lines like “yeah, I’m a rich a$$hole, but I have fun with it” didn’t help.

If it’s something steamy you’re looking for, I assure you, there are much better books out there, and many of them.

Superb book!

This book was excellent and certainly worthy of being made into a film version. The character's were good, I think we all know a 'Trevor', and believable. I just wish I'd been invited, as it sounds like a tremendous free holiday for everyone! Dad though, I think that I would have been tempted to take him and bury him under the sand at the hotel in Florida. At least Colton and Karen's mother was there for her sons second wedding. Poor Julian though, he didn't know where he didn't know where he stood, until the day Karen announced that she was going to have a baby, and all the legions of hell were let loose by her father, especially after Colton's announcement. At least they both had plenty of guests still in attendance at the hotel on their sides and supporting them. Great book and I will be looking forward to reading this author's work again, soon! Keep up the good work, but try and get some film company to bring this story to the big screen, even a collaboration of companies!
