When All Through the House...

As the family counts down to Christmas, everyone else seems to realize Lucien and Emma are truly meant to be--except the oblivious couple. A sweet story with a little spice😉 I loved the characters in this short book, especially Lucien and Emma! Narrator has such a good voice! I will look for others by this author and this narrator, and I will happily add this to my annual Christmas list.

A Perfect Christmas Love Story

More could have been done to have the heroine make hero pay more directly. Her family manipulating things when she hadn't done so made it seem too intrusively bad, not good. The few times she told him to go seemed inconsequential in light of it all. In fact, her family & her should have confronted him about his deplorable reputation/behavior so reader could see a change that would make him worthy. Hero had no real change & a few more chapters would've been welcomed to make that happen. If those chapters had been added, I think reader would feel more when the hero "loves" her instead of thinking "so what?" Why wouldn't he proceed with his plan for a mistress or the like? I wanted to root for them, but he didn't earn her. It was a manipulative convenience.

Length is ok, but...

Great short story/book. I loved all the characters especially the kids. However, I was disappointed the main hero didn’t seem to fully work through, understand, or even confess his feeling of inadequacy or the reason or events that led to it. He just got over it all of a sudden? 🤷🏻‍♀️
Excellent narration!

Short and sweet!

Delightful narrative from Tanya Anne Crosby complimented by Marian Hussey that I highly recommend as well worth your time.

I almost abandoned this short story 10 times but stuck around out of spite.

It was too stupidly, anachronistic, at times like nails on a chalkboard.

Kids? Nobody says “kids,” even in the cheesiest Regency novels, and there were a lot of awkward grammar and word choice gymnastics that took me out of the silly story too many times for me to care about any of these characters.

Frankly, ChatGPT could’ve edited this thing better than it was.

Good luck, at least the price is right.
