great narration,

I really like the flow of this story. A little before and after. Not an abrupt in once the two are united. I like all the characters as well. Well developed and entertaining for sure.

Loved this little “ naïve lady virgin” and accidental Lord and how their love story developed and almost was cut short before it even happened. Good narration too!

Better than Bridgerton?…ABSOLUTELY!

I ABSOLUTELY ADORED THIS STORY!! Tessa is a woman to LOVE! Spencer is a DREAM! I loved Abra, she brought so much joy! The narrator was PERFECT! He made the words come alive in the best way! I have never heard a male voice perform this style of novel and I really loved it!

This offered so much! A little bit of spice, beautifully written, witty, sweet, and HOPEFUL!

Hated the boxing thing

Not much of a plot same tired plot
As most Victorian novels. I had a hard time getting through the whole boxing thing.

Spencer is the biggest green flag 💚

What a wonderfully written MMC, really adored his thinking, attitude ans character. Tessa is sort of annoying but Spencer made up for it. Plot is very thin but this is a pleasant listen. Gary Furlong ia a new narrator for me and he ia absolutely fantastic.
