Allie; who was was so self-absorbed with herself that this character was difficult to like. Max was good enough to go to bed with, despite Allie thinking he was off of his rocker. I liked the second book; Misadventures with the Duke much more. Shane and Vanessa did a good job with narration; Shane is one of my favorites. Narrators aren’t responsible for a not so good storyline. Some of the book was funny (Max’s parts).

Omg the audiobook is to die for!!

Omg the audiobook is to die for!! I love the narrators and the characters. Shane East does an amazing job with the accents and the female narrator pulls off a great dycodomy of a modern day girl who meets a noble Frenchman. It's a wonderful story that was so much more entertaining with the great narration. Either way this is a fun, quick read that will have any Romance genre fan tickled pink or purple *wink* to have their ultimate book boyfriend prince come to life (or brought through time) and only your love can keep him here. Swoon!

Felt Repeatative

I felt like I have heard and read this story before, but than this was my first listen from Angel Payne. Overall the narrators did their best justification but they felt short a little.

Spectacularly sexy!

This was my first book by this author and I can honestly say that it will not be my last. This story was smokin hot and fun as hell. Great character dialog. I could not get enough of Max and Alisandra. This was probably the hottest book I've read/listened to in a long time. I would also like to say that the narrators were exceptional! Their accents were on point! The last two POVs in the book brought me to tears with how they performed. So much emotion. Definitely a 5 star read/listen.

Titillating and Entertaining

Misadventures with a Time Traveler is short, smutty, and has the most interesting. Maximillian De Leon (a French nobleman) comes forward from Allie Fine’s wardrobe in her room. She thinks he is an escort gifted to her, so they have lots of hot sex as soon as they meet. And then he falls in love. And then she finds out who he is. Then she falls in love with him. This story is rather titillating and entertaining, but had me laughing in not the best way.

Hot and steamy

This was a really fun story - I love time traveling stories. And our Hero definitely was a bit out of sorts with trying to keep up with modern times vs his time. However he was pretty quick to bring on the steam and a lot of it. Vanessa and Shane had wonderful audio performances.

to die for!!!

i absolutely love this book, true has two amazing narrators but the story is a mix of Kate and Leopold, beauty and the beast with a splash of devil wears Prada and a hint of the wardrobe and hunger games lol. i mean if you have read, watch or listen any of those you'll see the references. In all I loved the book and yes I recommend this book.

Maximillian De Leon who is from 1789, is unexpectedly thrust into 2019. Allie is in France with two of her friends on a trip they forced on her as a birthday surprise. Allie gets the surprise of her life with Maximillian. This is a fun, sexy story that is very well written. Angel Payne is one of my go to authors as I know I will always get great story and the Misadventures series is so entertaining. Shane East and Vanessa Edwin do a great job of narrating. This is a 5 star read.

Splendid F*ckery!

I really enjoyed this romp through time! In fact, I listened on audible and was absolutely captivated by Shane and Vanessa's performances! I think I have a little crush on Vanessa's male voice with a French accent... Angel Payne is a new Author for me, but I will definitely be putting her on my #faveylist. I wasn't expecting to be pulled into the emotion as much as I was. When the inevitable downturn happens I was fully invested and on the edge of my seat. There are some seriously HOT scenes in this book!! My only complaint was that it was not longer. I hope there is some followup so we know what's next... ;)
