Hi! I’m Miranda Blake, and this is my story. Well, sort of. It’s more like a twisted fairytale, if you believe in them. Except there’s no beautiful, young princess with perky breasts, perfectly coiffed hair, and a sassy attitude. I’m closing in on 50, 30 pounds overweight according to Weight Watchers, and, after nursing two kids and that bitch, gravity, doing her job, I’m lucky the ladies don’t hit my knees. The gorgeous brown mane of hair is slightly frizzy from my ridiculous attempts to recapture my youth by dyeing the hell out of it. As for sassy attitude, well, it wasn’t so long ago that I was a doormat. And the charming prince who sweeps me off my feet into the life of my dreams? I have a dog called Prince, German Shepherd, who knocks me on my ass if I’m in the way when the doorbell rings. Does that count?

Cute later age romance

I liked the first store but then at the end it goes to the set up for the next story. Both seem good but definitely a cliffy.

Did Chapter 12 get switched with another book? Savannah’s and Rafe are seemingly plugged into this book instead of whatever happened between Reed & Ritter & Miranda. I’m so confused.

This is a wonderful story to read and one I would recommend with a healthy dose of humor, falling, tripping, broken heels

A fun story to.listen to.
Miranda is trying to navigate her life after divorce.. At the age of 50, she's curvy, sassy, clumsy, and sometimes speaks her thoughts that ate inside her head.
With the help of her friends, they transform her into someone that she isnt., set her up on dates.
Her friends convince her to wear stiletto shoes to be sexy. But she isnt used to them and she literally falls into a mans lap at the restaurant. she has many embarrassing faux pas that had me laughing throughout this story.
Allie Piper narration brought this funny story to life. I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.
