She’d been on my radar for weeks, but I was trying to keep my distance. She was Dag’s sister and I wasn’t trying to get involved with her. I was doing a damn good job at staying away, but the moment I first laid my eyes on her, I knew I wanted her to be mine.

I couldn’t stay away from her, and somehow our lighthearted flirtation turned into the strongest bond I’ve ever had in my life.

Protection from danger

Dag’s sister and mother are seeking refuge at the club because the stepfather is out of jail and trying to harass or kill them. They have joined the family but Magnus has all kinds of plans for Rayna, including claiming her for himself. I enjoyed the danger, intrigue and the hot steamy courtship.

Mayhem is book 9 in this series and is Magnus and Rayna's story. Rayna and Magnus have circled each other since she and her mom arrived at the club in need of their help. Magnus has been playing the long game and when the time was right he finally made a claim on her. He and the club prove over and over they will do whatever is needed to protect her and the other women and members of the club. This book pulls at the heart strings and is full of death, deceit, and more MC drama. Definitely another 4.5 star must read or listen.

Mayhem, Book 9 of Raiders of Valhalla MC, is a fast-paced, emotionally charged audiobook that kept me fully invested from start to finish. The narrators really captured Magnus and Rayna’s connection, especially how their light flirtation slowly transforms into something deeper and more intense against a backdrop of constant danger. I loved the tension between wanting to stay away and being pulled together anyway—especially with Rayna’s life on the line and the club facing yet another escalating threat.

The MC drama is relentless in this installment, and while it adds urgency and suspense, it sometimes overshadows the romance slightly. Still, the emotional bond between the main characters shines through, making this a gripping and satisfying listen overall.

Mayhem!

This is a fast paced story that is not overly long and very captivating. It is the ninth story in the "Raiders of Valhalla MC" series. This series is better if read in order. There are ongoing threats and connected characters. This is the story about Magnus and Rayna, Dag sister. There are triggers in this story. These two have had some tension but you realize he has been waiting for her to be ready. He has known from the minute he sees her, she is it for him. The story is really good with danger, passion, threats and a bunch more.
