Fiora and Jaxx

Fiora not only is trying to save a whole species, but also trying to fight for her sister to see her. Not the innocent girl she was but the slightly damaged woman she is now. While this story is about Jaxx and Fiora falling in love, it’s also about Salena and Fiora reuniting and figuring out there new relationship.

So sweet and heart warming!.

Great addition to the series!

I loved listening to this book in the follow up series to The Dragon Lords and the Lords of the Var. It tells the story of Prince Roderic and Justina, and also brings back some of the characters from the previous generation. I love how sweet and touching this story is and how it shows that although the men of Qurilixen are very protective of their woman, they also recognize and support their strengths as they work together to solve problems. Their story great as a stand alone and also adds to the series in wonderful ways. The narrator did a good job to bring the story alive.

Great Second Installment!

This is the second book in the Qurilixen Lords Series, a dragon shapeshifter romance, and a spinoff of the amazing Qurilixen World. Jaxx and Fiora's story is complex, interesting, and intriguing. Fiora is such a beautiful, interesting and kind character! Jaxx is handsome, protective, and caring. They are perfect together. The world building is intricate, and captivating. Michael Ferraiuolo did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Determined Prince, the next book in the Series.

Loved It

***Audiobook review 6/30/23-***

I had the pleasure of reading this ebook in January of 2022 and really enjoyed it. (Original story review below) I was lucky enough to get my hands on a copy of the audiobook version, and loved it just as much. Narrated by Michael Ferraiuolo. I loved his voice! There was something in the narration of his tone that really attracted me. He did a great job with the different characters voices. His work further elevated the story and it was a joy to listen to.

*** Original ebook review 1/17/22-***

This story was a great action-filled adventure. Fiora is held captive by the Federation and used for their entertainment. She has a gift- or a curse in her opinion- that she can see into the future and she's unable to lie about it. She loses hope of escape, has been force-fed when tried to starve herself, and unable to bear being paraded out and used again, she tries to take her own life. Prince Jaxx is a dragon shifter ninth or tenth in line to the throne. He helps rescue Fiora from her captors but doesn't expect that she would be his fated mate. I really enjoyed this story. I was fascinated by Fiora. Great world building. 5 stars.

The Future of Qurilixen

Marked Prince is about Jaxx and Fiora. The story starts from the ending of the Dragon Prince, Book 1 of the series. Even though the book could be a stand alone read, it is better to get the background and the foundation of the story and characters.

Fiora, Salena's sister, has the ability of seeing into the future. The side effect of this gift is that Fiora is unable to lie. When Fiora read Jaxx, she was unable to see Jaxx's future and believed if she could not see Jaxx's future, he has a death mark on him. She also discovered that for some reason, Jaxx was her safe haven to keep the visions of the future at bay.

One thing about the Qurilixen world, is that each story is always entertaining with the characters' bantering and the strong relationships with each other as well as the actions and romance. This time, the story has a mystery that a seeress couldn't predict correctly.

This time Fiora caught a timeline of the apocalypse happening to Qurilixen. She could see the future but not the cause. In order to see the cause, she has to venture into Shelter City. Greer, Salena, and Jaxx accompanied her to Shelter City to prevent Qurilixen from being a wasteland. Just when the listeners/readers think who caused the apocalypse, the story surprises the audience.

I love this next generation of cat and dragon shifters and that their nemesis is the Federation. I'm already looking forward to see if the third sister will be found and rescue.

The narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo is the perfect narrator for the Qurilixen world series. I am always looking forward to his narration of this series.

I was given this audiobook by the author. I have decided to voluntary write an unbiased review for this book. I was not compensated or influenced in any way for writing this review.

This is book 2 in the series and is a stand alone book with wonderful HEA. I enjoyed this story so much I had to listen to it all in 1 setting. Did not want to stop. The narrator does a good job of pulling you into the story and bring each character to life. Looking forward to next book in the series.
