not the authors best work

let me start off by saying I really like this series. yet this book fell flat for me. Wasn't much action. the book was mostly a filler. tying up loose ends and just going on and on about what he is going to do after graduation. Definitely still worth the credit.

Best so far

Action packed from start to finish. Lots of progression for characters. The end approaches and there are the first steps to new beginnings.

The character seemed fresh in the genre of we too strong

Truly enjoyed the series. I’ve listened to it from book one through book 9. I’m going to now. Look to see when book 10 is coming out.

These books just keep getting better and better.

Absolutely fantastic writing. The characters are portrayed in such a way that one really gets to know them, Alex mostly of course but I mean.. I can't begin to say how much I recommend these books. And travis narration is absolutely magical.

Beginning of the end!

Another great book! Starting to tie up loose threads. Looking forward to the next stage and maybe the big finale!

I mean if you're on book 9 you're just reading reviews to see everyone liked it as much as you did. and I did.

Favorite series

Each and every book in this series has pulled me in way more than any other book has. The character development is the best I have ever seen. I can't wait for the next book. I am a little worried that the series might be coming to an end but I really hope there are many more to come.

In one word. Fantastic

Let me first say that the progression, character building, the perspective of each character and the relationships between the characters is in a word fantastic. As a sidenote, not to be confused with less important Travis Baldree I highly recommend Travis to any author that puts out a fantasy or LitRPG adventure. He always gives each character more depth and personality.

I NEED MORE!

Once again, this series continues to solidify itself as my all time favorite. While previous books in the series have had a great balance of action, world building, and character development, this book goes full throttle on the adrenaline. As Alex’s story nears its conclusion, his enemies get tougher, the stakes get higher, and I was on the edge of my seat for every minute of it. Unlike other series where the action becomes repetitive to the point of boredom and predictability, the organic wind up of the plot in Mark of the Fool gives book 9 a sense of tension that will have you holding your breath and freaking out in all the best ways. Can’t wait for book 10!!!
