Storyline was diffi

I liked the previous books in this series and decided to continue listening to the series. I did not like this one as much. The narration was very good but the details of murder were too lengthy, graphic and it seemed the storyline was less focused on the Mara and staff. I just found this one difficult to keep maintain attention.

This series is awesome! I want more. I feel like Mara is the modern day Perry Mason.

Always an unexpected twist. Keeps you hooked on the intriguing stories. I’m reading the entire series or should I say binging.

Do Not Follow Negative Reviews

I listen to all of the books and went back and purchase this after the last book. I like this narrator
I had skip this book in the members sale due to negative reviews. Those reviewers do not know what they’re talking about. This was one of the better stories. Yes, there was some graphic details but if you are a Karen slaughter fan, this was nowhere near her realm. I own all of the Will, Trent series and some of the grant county with Kathleen early as the narrator, excellent if you have a strong stomach.
I do not have a strong stomach but There are some details that make a graphic crime scene commensurate with a death penalty case.
This book did not have the repetitious dialogue of a few books in this series and quite frankly, it’s one of the better stories . I very much liked it.

Amazing series

Mara tackles the hardest cases and with her legal team, the police and Sam, she is able to win. It’s refreshing to find a series that focuses on a female lead. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I always feel like I’m listening to a movie when Vivienne Leheny narrates! Love this series so much! I’ll be sad when I’m finished.

Interesting story lines

These are always an interesting story line, good legal novel and excellent narrator. However, they continue to be more gruesome in the description of the crime than I prefer.

Another great book in the series, with another unimaginable twist…excellent job Robin James. There are times in the book that I feel like I am there watching the scene. This has to do Robin James amazing story telling and to Vivienne Leheny narration. I am going straight to the next book in the series because of the bombshell at the end…I have to see what happens.
