Meh

No thrills. Characters not very interesting - kind of pathetic, really. Courtroom a bit of a drudge.
Well-written, just less than riveting.

Narrator is so monotone

Only two hours in listening. Like the book so far but am finding the narrators voice not doing the book justice. Hope I can get through it.

Fast start and faded ending

The ending left me cold. It just seemed like the story faded away to nothing.

Absolutely Masterful!

Best courtroom drama of the century!! the epic writing skill of a Giles Blunt of "40 words for sorrow", but mostly in a courtroom. Pow, this was excellent: all but the author's obvious distorted view of God. First time hearing this performer, who at first I did not like, but now I know that no one could have performed this better. I love his voices. Look forward to another Wood book w/ the great sparse, anecdotal lines that show detailed thinking largely unmatched!! The next closest author would be Carroll O'Connell.

Kept Me Engaged

I’ve now listened to all of William P. Wood’s books. This one was a bit different, but still well-written and engaging. The difference was the descriptive crimes at the beginning. I recommend this book along with the others. I also find John McLain to be one of the best narrators with voices , diction, and spot-on pronunciation of unusual vocabulary.

Very good

Don’t normally read courtroom dramas but was very pleased. Somewhat confusing at first but got better all the way through until the very end. Definitely recommend.

Great legal thriller

I enjoyed the depiction of the stressful gruelling court process. It was an interesting chase to apprehend the murderer.

Terrible reading

Performance so awful that couldn’t listen for more than a few minutes. Definitely do not recommend it
