It is up to Juan Cabrillo and the crew of his ship, the Oregon, to stop a terrorist plot to release a deadly chemical weapon across the globe in the explosive new novel in Clive Cussler's number-one New York Times best-selling series.

While interrupting an attack on a Kuwaiti oil tanker, Juan Cabrillo and his team discover something even more dangerous: A ruthless billionaire's dying wish has allowed a paralyzing chemical to end up in the hands of a terrorist group. When an Oregon crew member falls victim to the poison, Juan Cabrillo will stop at nothing to find an antidote before it is too late. He and his team must connect an ancient mystery with a cunning modern enemy in order to save millions of innocent lives, including their own.

So good to see Juan and the crew back in action!

This is a very good Oregon Files book with the crew and a couple of the newer ones. The story lives up to the past books and I like the new features mention on this new Oregon. I am hoping this is not the last one and another book can come along and use all these neat gadgets in a new book. The characters are the ones I like and the perils of getting the results they need make for a good story. Scott, as always, brings it all to life very well.

The Oregon rides again . .

It's Cussler. It's Carillio. It's the Oregon. It's Scott Brick. What more is there to say?

Cussler is gone and back at the same time!

As a fan of the Oregon files, this is a great improvement over the last couple of stories that feel’s like it has been injected with new life! You won’t regret this read, and even better is Scott Bricks breath of life into these characters!!!

Weak Cussler

I have read all of the books MR Cussler has written. You can skip this one. It was like he had a good beginning and end but the middle was fudged.
Thin, weak and, dare I say, lazy writing.
Better books out there.
Sorry Clive.

The Oregon has gone woke

The story was good and so was the performance. However, the author went to great lengths to make the women in the stories the heros, while the men were just support. As soon as Clive Cusler died, the new guy went woke. :(

Gripping

I was worried after the destruction of the Oregon in the last book and the death of Clive Cussler there would be no more books in this series. I was so glad to see this book come out.

In this book we have a new improved Oregon ship, but the same crew. There is nonstop action along with new types of weapons. I could hardly put the book down. Cannot wait for the next book.

The book is nine hours and twenty-three minutes. Scott Brick does an excellent job narrating the book. Brick has narrated all of the Oregon series.

Barely passable.

Forgettable characters. The story is a stretch, but actually isn't. You'll know if you read it. The whole thing was just okay.
