Ten million active players. One Game Master.

Infinite Worlds is the most popular VRMMORPG on the market. Its maps are so vast, developer Hard Rock Data utilizes a network of highly advanced artificial intelligences to control it. But it’s not without problems.

That’s why Game Masters like Jeff Driscoll have jobs. The downside? He’s not allowed to play the game. Something about conflicts of interest and favoritism.

His very boring and tedious job is to help players deal with the occasional bug that slips through the cracks and ensure they enjoy their time playing enough to give a five-star rating. It’s a gig. It pays the bills.

However, when the AIs unexpectedly issue a rogue patch, the game becomes a buggy mess, and Jeff’s role radically changes. He finds himself as the only Game Master around, dealing with more problems than he can handle. It’s up to Jeff to return Infinite Worlds to normalcy...but will the AIs let him?

Manufacturing Magic is a unique spin on the LitRPG genre, not just providing the perspective of the players but also of one of those mystical, magical, all-powerful GMs we all dream of being. Perfect for fans of Luke Chmilenko, Dakota Krout, and Shemer Kuznits.

I struggled a but until the 50% point. but really picked up steam after that. I really enjoyed the unique take on the genre.

Took a bit to get going but worth the wait.

I enjoyed this and I'm not even a gamer. I really appreciated the explanations of all the initials, and it wasn't over done. The adventure was entertaining and engaging. The characters were funny and likeable. I will listen to the next one for sure.

When you go in don’t expect Shakespeare ok? It’s not one of those books. It’s fun a bit childish at times but a good read nonetheless. Now that being said it was a little slow at start and some parts could’ve been cut, BUT the ending was masterfully done and wrapped it together and I would definitely read a second book.

Western isekai and pretty damn fun read

This could definately be the start of a good series, and I'll be grabbing #2 shortly. The story has an interesting premise and some good characters.
My biggest issue with this story is that it lacks gravity. The stakes are lacking. If the MC fails, it's really not a big deal. If the other characters fail, it's not that big a deal. There was some interesting plot points going, but they lacked the gravity to make me worried about the characters quest. I have a feeling book 2 might do this, and I am hopeful.

solid litrpg, hopefully it picks up in the future
