Love the Whiskeys

I have read and enjoyed all the previous books in this series. Having said that, Mad About Moon can definitely be read as a stand alone although honestly if you have the time I would read them all. I think you will find this a highly addictive series to read, I know I did. This was an emotional story that captivated me from the first to the last chapter.

This is Jed Moon and Josie Beckley’s story and as I have come to expect from a Melissa Foster story, this was extremely well written and an absolute joy to read. A second chance could give both Jed and Josie a chance for the happiness that they both deserve.

Jed Moon is a total alpha male who ticked many of the boxes for me and Josie is perfect for him. I loved her feisty spirit and her unbridled passion for life, despite all the trauma and hardships the single mum has endured in her life.

The passion and love between Jed and Josie is intense and I loved the relationship that Jed develops with Hail, Josie’s son made for some beautiful and heart warming moments.

I love this series, the characters are so well developed and Melissa Foster’s writing so descriptive that I feel as though I am apart of the Whiskey family and Peaceful Harbour.

It is a story of love, hope and friendship, of family, not always related by blood and one which I highly recommend.

I so enjoy this wonderful series and this book really tugged on my heart strings.
There are such incredible feels and such devotion to family blood and chosen. Josie and Moon are so wonderful together and I love all the the interaction with all the Dark Knights. The story has many layers and Melissa effortlessly weaves them together to make this fantastic memorable story! The romance is spectacular and made me swoon! The narrators did a great job. Hail is one fabulous little boy as are all the Whiskey children are💙💜❤️

Mad About Moon

Mad About Moon by Melissa Foster and on audiobook narrated by Jacob Morgan and Devra Woodward. This is a continuation of The Whiskeys and this one is the Prospect for the Dark Knights Moon. Josie is his long lost love. They make a great couple. I enjoyed this audiobook so much.

Love this series! Moon is so swoony!!!

Excellent narration and a beautiful second chance love story make this a very enjoyable listen! It is equal parts sweet, sexy, charming and steamy! I just love Moon he makes me swoon! Josie is awesome and such a great mom and I love that she and Moon get a second chance! Hale is adorable in so many ways and stole my heart! Just Amazing!

Just Loved Jacob Morgan's narration!

I don't even have words on how spellbinding Jed's book is!!! Melissa Foster just brought the Whiskey series to a whole new level of excellence!
All I have to say is Moon!!!!!!!!! God yes!!!!

Pleasant surprise

This is book 4 in the series, but the first one I have read in this series. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a lot of alpha male/dominant type of characters. Yes there are those, but they also show their softer sides.

The interactions between Moon and Jojo were classic getting to know you. But seeing him with her little boy, Hale, was amazing. He loves that little boy beyond the moon. Watching Moon with Ricardo and Marco, you could see him trying to prevent the mistakes he made and wanting to help the boys.

Personally, I can't wait for Diesel's book. It's going to take one heck of a woman to tame him, but whoever succeeds will have one great big protective and growly teddy bear on her hands.

Love Moon and Josie

I was so happy to get more of the Whiskeys and Mad About Moon did not disappoint. Jed Moon and Josie Beckley have a history. Actually it's just a history of a few hours but it was a few hours neither will forget. When they reconnect years later Jed learns about the struggles Josie has faced since they last saw each other.

Jed is surprised to see Josie and to learn that she is the long lost sister of his friends Sara and Scott. Since he is a prospect for the Dark Knights Motorcycle club he offers to look out for her and her son. In doing so they grow closer and he helps her get the courage to re connect with her brother and sister.

Josie has been trying to make it on her own ever since her husband died suddenly. She finds herself without a job and living in a women's shelter with her son Hail. Jed shows up one day and she realizes that he is the boy she was with years ago whom she never forgot. He tells her that he wants to be there for her and Hail and help them out in anyway that he can.

This book is full of emotion. In previous Whiskey books you see how much they give back to the community and protect those in the family and in their inner circle. Jed is no exception to that. He shows what it means to be a Dark Knight and just a good man in general.

This book has both a female and male narrator and these two did not do it for me. Their voices didn't seem to match up with the characters. Character voices didn't seem to stay the same through out. With that being said I love the story and could not stop listening. I can't wait to see what is next for the Whiskey's.

good addition to this series

This was another great addition to this series. Jed has been a character that I had been hoping that would get his story told. He and Josie both had a brief past together and were reunited later by coincidence. Both characters were well written with life issues that they needed to overcome to find their HEA. Both characters were realistic and relatable in that Jed with his troubled past, substance abuse addicted mother and Josie with her grief from her deceased husband, being a single mother and down on her luck. Josie also had issues with her family (Sarah and Scott) and her perceptions of events of their pasts that she also over came once she learned the truth. I enjoyed Josie and Jed's story as it moved along well and I also enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous books and the sense of family that is in each of Ms. Foster's books. The audio edition for this book that was performed by Derva Woodward and Jacob Morgan was performed well in that the narrators told the story enthusiastically and clearly. They both did well differentiating between characters and made the book an overall enjoyable listening experience.

Big hearted story in audio and print.

I fell in love with the story about Jed Moon and Josie Buckley. Melissa Foster has done it again with her multifaceted characters that tugged at my heart strings. She has created a story filled with heartbreak for the characters past challenges and happiness as they find a path for the future. It really shows through the narration of this story how big of hearts the Whiskey family are. Debra Woodward and Jacob Morgan truly brought Melissa Foster’s words to life. These books are relatable and rewarding to listen to. Kudos to Melissa Foster and the team of Debra Woodward and Jacob Morgan on this heartwarming 5 star read.
