Sweet, heartwarming and steamy

I loved Dixie and Jace’s beautiful secret crush love story. It was full of passion, sweetness, acceptance and love. It will give you all the swoony swoons while also pulling at your heartstrings with all the emotions - expect to laugh, cry, swoon, cringe, grit your teeth and cheer. Jace is co-owner of a custom motorcycle company. Dixie is the manager god her family’s auto shop and bar. Dixie has loved Jace since she was 17 but Jace is not a relationship guy. When Dixie agrees to be the face of his new motorcycle line and goes to NY for a photo shoot, their long simmering attraction begins to boil. On their way to their HEA, Dixie and Jace have to deal with their individual issues and their disparate lifestyles. It’s a bit of a roller coaster ride but the end is worth it. The story included sweet moments, steamy scenes, chuckles, supportive friends, messy families, painful pasts, and all the heart squeezing love. All of Melissa Foster’s books have a central theme of family who accept you as you are - those we are born into and those we create. This book is no different. I love Melissa’s characters and families. They always feel like home. And I am so looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Devra Woodward and Aiden Snow did a phenomenal job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly. I love the added dimension of listening to the characters.

I absolutely loved Jace and Dixie’s story! Very emotional and steamy! I want Jace to growl at me 😉.

Dixie only has eyes for one man. I doesn’t matter because her biker brothers manage to scare away any man that gets too close. Until Jace....he holds his ground with Bullet. He knows what he wants and he’s determined to get her.

Listening to these two try their hands at a relationship is everything. It is uncharted territory for both of them. It’s messy, hot, swoon worthy, and a long time in the making. They both deserve it, but can Jace handle the sacrifices?

WOW!!!

Dixie Whiskey is an all-around badass; she’s sexy, sassy and headstrong. She is constantly going head-to-head with her overprotective older brothers as she fights to maintain her independence. All she wants is to find her forever love as each of her brothers have found. Except, any guy she tries to date, her brothers interfere causing Dixie to go on dates secretly or not at all.
Jace Stone is one hot as sin billionaire biker who co-owns Silver-Stone Cycles. He is a hardcore businessman who has little to no time for romance or putting down roots. He does however have a soft side that very few see. He has a soft side when it comes to his family, especially towards his new nephew.

When these two get together, it is explosive! You will not be disappointed. Great narration!

I loved this story!

I couldn’t wait to read Dixie and Jace’s story and Melissa Foster delivers another great book! If you like hot, sexy characters with great chemistry, a story that draws you in from the first page to the last and leaves you wanting more this is the book for you! I listened to the audible copy and it was great. The two narrators did a fabulous job! Highly recommend this book!

Great MC Romance

Love how strong of a woman Dixie is! Steamy without overwhelming us with many s e x scenes and the chemistry built between Dixie and Jace was great. We see where the story is going to go most of the time, but I appreciated this well written MC romance.

Excellent narration takes this story to the next level.

Jace Stone needed a model for the calendar for his launch of Silver Stone cycles.
He always had Dixie Whiskey in mind but trying to convince her would be a challenge.
Their connection is electric. she wants him, but not as a fling..She wants him in a real relationship. would he catch whiskey fever! or would- he not take a chance with Dixie..

Emotional and Sexy Story!

This is the sixth book in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor, a MC Series. I haven't listened to the first books in this Series yet. Dixie and Jace's story is emotional and sexy. I love Dixie! She is a strong and sassy character. Jace is an intriguing character. They are great together and they share a sizzling chemistry. I love the family spirit in this story. Aiden Snow and Devra Woodward did an amazing job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

Dixie Whiskey and Jace Stone

Audiobook Review…A strong and sexy woman needs a strong and sexy narrator to tell her story and Devra Woodward is just that woman. She took the strength and spunky of Dixie and brought her to life. The tone of her voice, the strong tone, and the use of pitch was perfect for a story that I had been waiting for. I will not leave Aiden Snow, one of my most favorite narrators, out of this review. He took strong, alpha Jace and share his story showing his gentle side while keeping him strong and in charge. The dual narrators are so much fun. I love hearing them both tell the story of two amazing characters.


Ebook Review…Oh Dixie, I always knew you were a strong woman. I never dreamed you’d be this much fun to see fall in love. When Dixie fell, she fell. There is no halfway with this lady. She dove in headfirst and never looked back. Okay, yes, she fell when she was 18 and didn’t understand what it all meant but she set her eyes on Jace never wavering from her decision. I love that she didn’t make it easy on Jace. She made him work for it, let her heart get broken, but never closed it off to the happiness that she knew she deserved.

Jace, I thought you were going to lose her a time or two. Jace made stupid mistakes that only a man who was head over heals in love would make. He learned quickly, although not quick enough for Dixie, and made his amends in grand ways. He loved, learned from his mistakes, and worshipped Dixie as she deserves. Jace is the biggest alpha male and the only one who could stand by Dixie’s side.


Taming My Whiskey is amazing. It is a story of family, love, and strength. The strong female lead character is what I expected of a Whiskey and Jace is the perfect husband for her. Melissa Foster did an amazing job of updating the readers on the rest of the Whiskey Family while not letting them overshadow Dixie and her story.
