Mary Monroe is a New York Times best-selling author who pens tales of life’s emotional tapestry. Lost Daughters follows Maureen Montgomery and her daughter, Loretta, as they strive to make a life after the death of Maureen’s domineering mother. Forever scarred by Mama Ruby’s tyrannical ways, Maureen longs for a quiet, simple life. But Loretta has something far different in mind. Dreaming of fame and fortune, she embarks on a modeling career. Mama Ruby, however, casts a shadow with the power to darken their lives.

yeS, yES,YES!!!

THIS book?! Invoked EVERY emotion and then some! Sadly, a LOT of it is relatable to real life...especially life in the old south! Ms.Monroe did the dang thang with this one! But I'm not surprised!

Really Mary?

I have yet to finish this book- I am struggling to get through it but I purchased it so I will try to get through it This book is UNLIKE. Mary’s other books , it seems drawn out , the story like is basic and lacks substance. So Disappointed that I chose to write my first full review.

Wonderful Book

Great book, easy listening. I sure hope it is a sequel to this book. It sounds like it will be. I enjoyed the flow of the book and how it kept me very interested until the end.

Great Mother Daughter Thriller

Enjoyed listening to this story of love, parenthood, marriage, and betrayal. The conclusion showed we can all make mistakes but we can also grow and learn from those mistakes. But, I think the moral of the story should be "Spare the rod and spoil the child!"

HORRIBLE!!

I don't usually do reviews but because of the quality of this book forced me to share my thoughts. I don't like wasting my money / time on the last book of a series that shouldve stopped at book 2. The story dragged on and on for absolutely no reason. Maureen and Loretta's characters & storyline were very unrealistic and far fetched. The book was just awful and boring. If I could rate this book below a 1 star I would.

Glad It’s Over

This was a very longgg dragged out book. It was ok I enjoyed Big Maureen though! And if I had a daughter like Loretta I probably would seriously disown her. Diana Luke is an amazing narrator, she brings the characters to life
