Nathaniel Parker, born in 1962, graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company. His television career began in 1988 when he played Flying Officer 'Flash' Gordon in the LWT mini-series "Piece of Cake". He is also the lead in the BBC series "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries", based on the novels by Elizabeth George. Nathaniel Parker has an extensive list of audio books to his credit, ranging from the classics of Charles Dickens and Thomas Hardy to more modern writings and children's books.

Always a fun read

A nice series that is fun to read and with the familiar sound of Nathaniel Parker's narration, a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Love this series

Engaging and well-paced. Good company for slow days, long drives and chores. I love all of Nathaniel Parker’s audio performances-except his flat grating American voices (lol!).

Loving fhe Mydworth mysteries series, the characters are excellent and the way they solve the mystery is good. I listen to these while I am doing my hobbies and cannot wait for the next one. The narration is very good.

LOVE IT!!!

They Mydworth and Cherringham Mysteries are quickly becoming my favorite short stories. I love the characters. I love the story lines. Some are a bit predictable, others not so much. I am always excited to start the next one. If you are looking for a quick read, or listen, these series are perfect!!!

Echoes of the Thin Man

This book was delightfully charming as the 2 main characters so reminded me of one of my favorite movie couples- Nick and Nora Charles of the famed Thin Man movie series with their first movie debuting in 1934. The story was intriguing, amusing and thoughtful. Enjoyed it very much.

Costello and Richards with another hit!

If you are looking for a short cozy mystery with no dead bodies, you've come to the right place. It seems like 'mystery' has come to mean 'a minimum of one bloody body, preferably more, in rapid succession.'. Sometimes the brain needs a break from the gore.
