Publisher's Summary

Since the beginning of time, mankind has been aware of a higher power, a cosmic energy, a light, a divine life force.

Eastern philosophy may refer to it as Qi or prana, while many know it as “the source”, and movies like Star Wars refer to it as “The force”.

East meets West, and spirituality meets science, as Dave brings together Eastern philosophies with modern science and its understanding of the psychological “flow state”, creating a strategy for aligning the body, diet, mind, and spirit to this universal force, helping you excel in every area of life with a sense of ease and effortlessness.

“Flow state" is not just a peak state or “the zone” for the elite one percent; it’s an abundant energy that every one of us can connect to and live our life by.

Flow state is a philosophy. It’s a mind-set. It’s a way of life.

“Those who flow as life flows know they need no other force.” (Lao Tzu)

So, what's the method?

I listened to the book once and didn't really catch how to live in a flow state. I thought there would be some kind of method presented but there wasn't. I'll give it a chance and will listen to it again to see if I am the one who missed it. Otherwise, it doesn't really add any value to me. Knowing that we should all let bad things go, move on, breathe, eat and sleep properly and so on is nothing new. I'm really interested in the flow state concept and that's the reason why I got this audio book. Unfortunately, I didn't get any clues on how to get started through this audio book.

Love this!

I can’t say enough about how this book is helping me! I love the subject of flow and I’ve been tapping into it for years. Most of the books I listen to are a bit more spiritual or more scientific or just difficult to wrap your brain around sometimes. I feel like Dave is able to relate to the every day person in an easy to understand direction. I would recommend this audiobook to anyone!

Great Information

I loved the audio book and the delivery by the author was terrific. He says that none of the information is brand new just that we need to “just do it”. I couldn’t agree more. 1 critique is the reference to the website for additional resources. I’ve spend 20 minutes trying to find it using google and Instagram and FB but have not found those resources yet. Please help. Thank You 😊.

Great read!

Living in Flow State does a great job capturing, in a succinct and compact way, the causes and triggers required to get into flow state under a variety of different conditions. Thoroughly recommend this book to anyone interested in becoming or already a student of Flow.

Very average

This is basically a summary of all the books you've already read. A lot of 'uhms' by the narrator/author, no original thought and a lot of cheesy quotes.
