Harness the principles of synchronicity and flow to live better, work smarter, and find purpose in your life

When we align with circumstance, circumstance aligns with us. Using a cutting-edge scientific theory of synchronicity, Sky Nelson-Isaacs presents a model for living "in the flow"--a state of optimal functioning, creative thinking, and seemingly effortless productivity.

Nelson-Isaacs explains how our choices create meaning, translating current and original ideas from theoretical physics and quantum mechanics into accessible, actionable steps that we can all take to live lives in better alignment with who we are and who we want to be.

By turns encouraging and empowering, Living in Flow helps us develop an informed relationship to meaning-making and purposefulness in our lives. From this we can align ourselves more effectively within our personal, professional, and community relationships to live more in flow.

The advise provided in this book are practical, not just theoretical. I can easily apply each of the topics to my everyday life at work and social gathering.

Great book

If you are a 9-5 office worker or project manager for a large company or who works regularly managing team to get things done then you will probably get more out of this book than I did. I enjoyed the musings of high-level, transcendental metaphysics and explorations and references to other modern philosophical works that previously went over my head. Nelson-Isaacs does a great job of breaking down these ideas and making them accessible and applicable. What lost me are applying these headier ideas to mundane middle-manager scenarios but that's likely because I don't have a mundane middle-manager existence and tend to work autonomously and be responsible for niche work... or that a lot of the application of this knowledge is somewhat common sense on my specific place in life, but may be a revelation to others who rarely consider applying philosophy to day-to-day interactions. I'm sure someone working their way up a corporate ladder or trying out a new professional venture or all of the above may glean great knowledge and insight from the examples but I preferred the concepts themselves and which there was a breakdown of more of them. The narrator is phenomenal and embodies the material well in a very conversational and down-to-earth tone for the otherwise abstract ideas and helps ground them in the physical world through his performance.

Excellent Narration, Heady Concept

there's so much about non-violent communication in this book that I talked with sky. he has studied in NVC to a certain extent it's very clear. this book talks about the power of perspective and how to hold what you want in life. highly recommended.

Calling all NVC practitioners!

Never properly establishes what 'flow' actually is. Generalities overtake this book to its detriment. very disappointing, but don't waste your time. The narrator is terrible. He reads like a robot without understanding.

Half-baked

Couldn’t finish, beyond boring with too many irrelevant anecdotes, the book can be summed up in 3 sentences

Bunch of useless anecdotes

Written by a guy who has been incredibly lucky and blessed in life and it's so utterly delusional that he believes he's so special he's magically created his life by wishing hard enough... He really believes that... it's a joke.

Complete trash.

the book is not clear and it doesn't seem to help anyone
it doesn't give the sense that we can do something to be in flow
there may be another book that explains this much better

complicated and random examples given

This text is nauseatingly repetitive pseudoscientific garbage that wastes time showering the audience with assurances and implications rather than forming real connections or providing models for the audience. Also, for something with “Flow” in the title that references “Flow” a whole lot, it seems to me like the author doesn’t actually play with Csikszentmihalyi’s framework but just kind of mentions it in a vaguely tangential way every now and then for clout.

I’m seriously bummed that I spent my money on this.

Just read Flow.

continuously listening to the author go on about how people of different colors need to treat and think of people of different colors differently rather than the content of their character. think of them by the color of their skin. this dude is an evil scumbag

a very racist book
