We never have all the answers
(As posted in Goodreads)
Compelling and engulfing. The story absorbs the reader from the start, and it always leaves the reader wondering what went on in the main character's life. All the way through one gets hints until the very end were important questions are answered and no longer left flapping. Great book.

Didn’t have me on the edge of my seat
The dialogue was too childish and the storyline seemed immature. Gigi was too busy solving her own personality issues rather than looking for the little girl. In fact, the little girl wasn’t even mentioned that often, whereas Gigi should have been spending every second searching for her! The narrator was awful. I almost quit listening several times.

Nothing!
For a murder/mystery there was no suspense at all. Had I been actually reading the book I would have quit…listening to it while doing something else was less painful! I chose this book, because after reading a synopsis of what it was supposed to be about, it sounded like it would be a book you couldn’t put down. Wrong! I won’t read another book from this author. There are way too many murder mystery authors out there that far exceed this one.

Disappointed
I did not care for the reader’s voice, although she did enunciate clearly. The story was a bit lame, and I found myself just wanting to get through to the end, which was anticlimactic. The story didn’t flow, didn’t draw me in. Overall, disappointing.

Horrible performance
The writing of this book is very bad. I don’t know if it was the narrator or the author but the “I ..Ah…um…” that is in just about every conversation made me roll my eyes after the 10th time I heard it. The story was under minded by the horrible narration. I only finished this book because I was curious about what Gigi’s secret was.
