great story! not so good A.I. narration

I'm new to Cheryl Bradshaw but so far I have loved her stories, this is the third book I've listened to and plan on continuing the series even though I started in the wrong order I have backtracked. the AI narration is not so great; connotations and word pronunciations are terrible at times. I'm not a fan even if it is cheaper. I prefer a person to be reading it. that being said I really love Cheryl Bradshaw's writing style and the characters in these stories are great! the twist and turns in the books are great as well! I feel that I figure who " who dunnit" pretty easily in some books but these are exceptionally written and you never know who killer is until the end and there is a really good twist in revealing the killer. I have added Cheryl Bradshaw to my favorite authors list so far!

AI translation ruined book

This is a good story by a good author. The AI translation was so disconcerting, that I had to discontinue listening and buy the book. Words are mispronounced, and there is no differentiation between male and female voices. But even worse, between reciting lighthearted conversations and speaking about murder and other tragic happenings!
I couldn’t get past this. The narration is so important, and hopefully I will know before I purchase another with AI narration.
