Heart Warming Scary Story?

I kept rewinding this one. The details and characters were interesting and kept the story driving forward. These kinds of stories are captivating at first but sometimes I can't finish them. I liked this one.

Kept me guessing

Great listen , good characters and great ending! Loved the full cast, and it was an easy listen.

Finding a decent Prime First Reads is challenging, so I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy THE LAST MORNING as much as I did.

Short chapters with multiple points of view, labeled The Mother, The Father, The Teacher, The Cop, The Ex Wife etc told the story in the way that made nearly everyone a suspect. Usually I am not drawn books with so many POVs, but THE LAST MORNING cleverly labeled each short chapter with the narrator, so keeping track of who was telling the story was easy.

Most of the suspicion came from The Husband, Allen’s past, though most of the characters were less than forthcoming. I changed who I thought to be the perpetrator multiple times throughout the book.

THE LAST MORNING is the first book in a new series. Sign me up for book two.

Who did it .....

I didn't see that ending coming. I alway see the twist coming and I definitely didn't this time. The story was well though out and the narrators did a good job in telling the story.

Hit too close to home.

This was an incredible story that was close to my heart because I have a kid in the same grade and I can understand what the parents were going through. I was on pins and needles the whole book trying to find out who did it.
