Holy Moly if you liked book 1 in the Ravenpeak Bay series get ready for book 2.

I thought I liked Torrin but his brother Rhett takes it to another level. Rhett was hired by Arryn’s father Mr. Lauded to take out his competition. Things did not go as planned, and now Mr. Lauder I’d dead and his daughter Arryn’s life is in danger. So what does Rhett do? He kidnaps her to keep her safe.
The forced proximity makes the chemistry very hot between the two.
There is a huge plot twist, that you don’t see coming.

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook. Teddy Hamilton and Vivienne LaRue did a wonderful job.
Teddy was so good at capturing the witty but dangerous side of Everette. Vivienne was able to portray a strong FMC, but also bring her vulnerabilities.

A Feast For The Ears!

Ria Wilde hits it out of the park with this small-town romantic suspense audiobook! And hey, a little forced proximity never hurt anybody. This story truly has everything—romance, suspense, witty banter, intrigue, love, family—to take you on a journey that’s equal parts heartbreak and heart song. I am absolutely loving this Ravenpeak Bay world, or as I like to call it, Hot Hitman Central. I adored the first audiobook in this series, These Rough Waters, and I was very excited for this one. And that excitement was not misplaced with the wonderfully unexpected romance between Everett and Arryn. And with flawless narration from the talented voices of Teddy Hamilton and Vivienne LaRue, this story is truly a feast for the ears!

This is the second book in the Ravenpeak Bay series. This is Rett’s book. Rett is an assassin for hire. He was hired by Arryn’s father. Arryn is a super model and women’s lingerie designer. She is to step in and run her father’s businesses when he decides to retire. Arryn’s father hires Everett to eliminate the competition. While he is studying the habits of his target, he starts stalking Arryn. When something goes wrong, the only thing Rett can do is kidnap Arryn for her safety. Vivienne LaRue and Teddy Hamilton did a fantastic job narrating this book.

Great story♥️

I loved the story, but what makes it perfect are the performers. The combination of a good story and good performers make the outcome perfect!!! Unfortunately there’s not enough, but this one is!

Awesome Story & Narration🎧 Thrilling & Twisted!

Ria Wilde continues to blow me away with another amazing romantic suspense novel, the second in her “Ravenpeak Bay” series, a series of interconnected standalone novels. The first book, “These Rough Waters” featured Torin and Maya, and this book is Torin’s brother Everett “Rett” Avery and Arryn Lauder’s story, and picks up soon after the first book ended.  I recommend starting the series with the first book, not only is it just as amazing as this book, but it is beneficial to be familiar with the characters that crossover into this story and seeing them again is like seeing old friends, not to mention it adds more depth. Everett has fully recovered from his injuries and takes on a job for Mr. Lauder, a hotel mogul and as soon as he saw his daughter, Arryn, he knew he had to have her. Arryn is a beauty, she is a model and has her own business, and is in line to take over her father’s business one day. She has not had the best luck with men, because most disappoint her, think she is all beauty and no brains, she assumed Everett would be the same. Everett is good at what he does and expects the job will go easy, but he was as wrong about that as Arryn’s assumption was about Everett. When all goes haywire and hits the fan, it is Everett who saves Arryn, though she does not know that at first and gives him a hard time. He brings her to the only place he knows he could keep her safe, to his cabin in Ravenpeak Bay. It was great to be back in Ravenpeak Bay and to see Torin and Maya again, and Harper, too. I absolutely loved how everything played out in this book, it is a cleverly plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. It was great to watch Rett and Arryn get to know each other and their relationship grow, they were fabulous together and for each other. There was a twist I never saw coming and I am looking forward to what comes next for the Averys and RavenPeak Bay.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Teddy Hamilton and Vivienne LaRue were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting and believable. LaRue grasped every aspect of Arryn’s personality, from her confidence to her strength and determination. Hamilton nailed it as Rett, and was a natural in that role, also confident, determined to get what he wants and very protective. Both were just as fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance elevates this already amazing story to another level.

What a ride!

From the start it was perfect. Rhett gets an assignment and notices Arryn. He’s captivated by her and of course pursues her! Their banter and fight is so funny and I love her fight and strength! Arryn is such a fighter she didn’t go down without a fight. Rhett was so protective and possessive of her and it was so swoon worthy really loved that he’s like “ I didn’t kidnap her” haha.

Chapter 40 had me crying my eyes out. Ria you sure know how to rip my heart out.

Vivienne and Teddy did and beautiful performance. All the emotions they had to convey!

I cannot wait for the first book to come out!

We’re back in Ravenpeak Bay with book 2 in the series. This book was SO GOOD! Everett and Arryn had me completely captivated from the very beginning. Everett is a hitman with quite the personality! He’s fun, sexy, sarcastic, but also surprisingly sweet! Arryn is such a strong, independent FMC with so much sass! The twists in this book were amazing!

Recorded in dual style, Teddy Hamilton and Vivenne LaRue knocked this out of the park! Vivenne is a new to me narrator and her voice was perfect for Arryn! She portrayed the fire in Arryn brilliantly! And Teddy for dark, possessive, and protective Rhett?! His voice was perfection!

I absolutely devoured this story and can’t wait for book #3!

Teddy as Rett was everything I needed

Oh my Oh my Oh my!!! This is my first listen of @narratedbyteddyhamilton and MAN!!! Did he knock it out of the park!!!

When I read Like a Hurricane by @authorriawilde I was OBSESSED with Rett and Arryn’s story.. I gave it a 5⭐️4🌶️ and hearing it in audio form was everything I could have wanted from it!!

@narratedbyteddyhamilton was the PERFECT Rett!! Like exactly what I imagined Rett to sound like 🖤

@viviennelarue was absolutely Amazing as Arryn 🫶🏼 She nailed it!!

An intriguing listen

This is the second book in the Ravenpeak Bay series and while it can be listened to as a standalone, it is better to start with the first audiobook in the series. This is Everett’s story and what a tale it is…Who would have thought that one’s person would show up when plotting for a job? Everett is tasked by Aaryn’s father to take care of some business competition when he first comes into contact with her. As he attempts to follow through with his task, things do not go according to plan and Aaryn winds up in the crosshairs, making her the new target. What is Everett to do but whisk her away to save her but is that Aaryn’s only option? This is one intriguing listen with an engaging cast of characters and a town that could be a character in and of itself. Teddy Hamilton did a stellar job bringing Everett to life showcasing his protectiveness towards Aaryn. Vivenne LaRue is a new narrator to me and she was a force to be reckoned with as she portrayed the many facets of Aaryn, mixing strength with sassy to perfection. These two narrators brought on the banter and steamy to the nth degree that will have any listener want to spend the day kicking back to hear this audiobook.
