Publisher's summary

Sean discovered that words do indeed have power, and agreements are binding in this world, where the Queens of the Fey rule.

Fleeing the burning village of Oakwood, with Feline Moonbound pursuing them, Sean, Fiona Mithrilsoul, and Myna Mooncaller will have to find a way to coexist as they cross the wilds to distance themselves from the atrocities behind them.

The uncertainty of what will come constantly gnaws at Sean. Fiona is with him, now bonded for ten years, but Myna has been life bonded to him. Trying to sort out his mixed-up feelings, Sean worries what might happen with the woman he loves and the friend he pulled back from death’s door.

(This work contains adult situations, that some might find offensive, not least of which is graphic sex. This audiobook is about an overpowered MC, and contains a harem, you’ve been warned).

feels like the book doesn't progress the story

I really enjoyed the first book but this second one was tough to get through. It feels like this book makes no progress in moving the story forward. The main characters whining about his relationships with his life bonded is painful to hear but that is a large part of the story.

Waste of time and money

Schinhofen managed to ruin another series with the same exact kink he has had in his other books.

literally. it goes like this. MC struggles to accept banging more than one women. Accepts doing this. Likes it. Then the entire book is just the author describing food. The MC complaining about his feelings in his head "woe is me, why can't I be more like my best friend". Let's listen women #1's problem tonight. describe some food. listen to women #2's problem the next night. drink tea.x100

The characters are basically copy pasted from his last horrible harem novel. the book goes no where! this series is crap.

Daniel. just mail order 2 brides. one with a somewhat Scottish accent and another with an Asian bloodline to live your fantasies so your readers don't have to keep listening about it.

The adventure continues.....

A not so good continuation of the story but I am still looking forward to the next one in the series and hopefully is better than this one. If it wasn't for Andrea Parsneau narration i would have dropped this series entirely.

this book is not fun.

MC is an idiot.
more 3/4's of the book is the bonded women convincing him to accept the situation while he complains and whines about everything.

it's too bad, I really wanted it to be good.

Fantastic!!!

Great story and narration!

The gang is back! Leaving their destroyed village behind, they vow to exact vengeance on the ones responsible for the demise of their friends. With no real lead on the perpetrators, they start heading from town to town - fleeing prejudice and trying to get stronger for what is to come.

This one was fun!

If you liked the first book, then you will enjoy this one as well!

Note:
This story is Haram Gamelit - this genera often contains explicit scenes

Schinhofen does it again

Another excellent adult fantasy from Daniel Schinhofen. Stranded on another world by The Morrigan, Celtic goddess of war, fate, and death, Sean MacDougall finds himself and his friends wandering the bandit haunted roads after their home is destroyed. A fun read but not intended for youngsters.

Great series

I really enjoy this author and while I have seen better cover art, at least it looks like it is of the characters in this book. Too many times I have seen cover art that was disconnected from the actual book. A great second book for this series and I am excited to continue this story.

Where is the Story??

Truly enjoyed the first book, and this one was decently written, but there was no plot development. This entire book was about their travel and the growing relationship of the MC, but there were no real challenges to overcome and just a few weak enemies fought here and there. Where is the character character development and growth. In the first novel the MC grew progressively, learning new skills and talents, in which this novel was just completely lacking. It honestly left me with the question “Is that it, nothing happened?” Even the ending had me saying “What? That was the end of the novel?” As it reads like the end to a bad chapter, and seemed as if it were still in the middle of the book. Very disappointing.

Andrea Parsneau’s performance was great however, though I wish she had had more to work with.

Very Enjoyable!

I found this a very enjoyable book with great character development. Reading other reviews I was nervous but having listened to it, they seem to have a problem with someone not just jumping in bed with multiple women. The fact that he had to work through the moral implications was taxing to them. I personally found it refreshing that he had to really think about the implications for himself and the women involved. Good Book, Great Characters and an Excellent Plot!
Another great job by Andrea Parsneau! I Love Her Work! I can’t wait to see where you go from here!
