was hesitant but surprised

It honestly was pretty good. The world building was it's weakest point but was still acceptable. The reviews claiming there was a lot of smut couldn't have read the same book first time it happened was around 65%. Mc isn't op either which was nice and he isn't a moron so...hazzaaa. overall a very easy, fun, and enjoyable experience.

Grows on you, Great story

I got the authors cut so it's definately not PG13. Wasnt expecting the sex "scenes" to be so graphic, or so many of them. I'm not prudish in the least but post apocalyptic audible porn just isn't for me or what I expected.

Other than that I really liked the story. First RPGLit I've read. I already purchased book 2.

Starts off strong. Finishes kind of weak.

In the beginning the story is very good and quite enthralling. Strong world building and character development, though far from the best I've seen. By the end it turns into angsty wish fulfillment for the author.

I would wager that the love interest of the main character is based off a real person that doesn't know she's been written into a book, and quite explicitly too. Honestly, I was surprised that the narrator was able to keep a professional tone with some of the scenes, which is why I rated her so highly.

I say that the book is worth getting, but if you're agonizing over choosing this book or another, get the other book first.

I have to admit that the scene in the car was seriously hot though.

Great narration

as the title of this review suggests, I loved Andrea Parsneau narration of this. but I could not get into the story. gave it multiple tries and with a little over an hour left i am struggling to finish

Book two has landed!

Rejoice, even though this book is worth multiple times through we can now dive into the next addition to it, albeit through Kindle instead of audible but still I've been anticipating book two for a bit now.

I enjoyed the character development of the NPC’s and the interaction between them and also the main character.

I wasn’t thrilled with the start of the story, however, once the main character got to world mode the story became much more interesting and developed a very interesting story line. Looking forward to the next episode in the series.

until the dragon twist at the end...

I thought this was a RIP off of that video game franchise where they have pip boys on thier arms , I cant remember the name atm .
