Publisher's Summary

The sparks of unexpected passion ignite in this electrifying GhostWalker novel from number-one New York Times best-selling author Christine Feehan.

When Malichai Fortunes attacks a problem, he does it full force - a habit that earns the GhostWalker a painful injury and a forced vacation in San Diego, California. With nothing but physical therapy on the horizon, Malichai is starting to get restless...until a striking blue-eyed blonde makes all his senses come alive.

Amaryllis is kind and warm and sees beyond Malichai's rough exterior, but he can tell there's something she's hiding. Her innate healing abilities indicate she might be a GhostWalker - albeit an untrained one. Malichai doesn't think their crossing paths is anything more than coincidence, but he can sense that one wrong word could send Amaryllis running.

When strange events at his temporary retreat put Malichai on high alert, he knows he won't be able to deal with the threat and keep his woman safe in his weakened state. But calling in his brothers means telling Amaryllis what he really is, and revealing that he knows the truth about her too....

Astounding

I love the way this narrator tells a story. It took a while when I first listened to his voice but now I can't wait to hear more.
This book is so much better that the last couple. Malichi isn't as controlling as the previous men. And we get a great surprise with a past couple.
Malichi got hurt during a rescue mission. Nonni, the triplets and the other women in the swamp fortress sent him on vacation to a bed and breakfast in California. There he meets Amaryllis.
She is one of the female children that Whitney experimented on, so.she is a ghost Walker too.
Malichi isn't healing like he should be, there are several murders happening and a malicious plot from someone high up in the government.

What an amazing, thrilling, sexy story!

This turned into a reunion of sorts of the other ghostwalker groups, pulling together for a very serious mission on US soil. It was so nice to hear from old friends so to speak. The story between the main couple as usual was very tender, with super hot sex, lots of adventures plus a very unexpected event. Don’t want to give anything away. Ms Feehan always paints an amazing story and uses real life events with some experiments that are usually being studied in real life. Mr Frangione is great but he did forget to speak as a female voice several times when she was responding, but still great.

Best One Yet!

I loved the depth of the characters in this book. The strength of Malachi and the love of his brothers is clearly shown as is the strength of the women in their lives. Loved the ending!!

Another Great Ghost Walker book!!

Malichai is awesome. Strong silent type. There was a diverse story line throughout the book that kept the story going in several directions and had this reader hooked! I enjoyed the various plots and how they played out. I highly recommended this book.

Nice Change

I love all books in this (and all) her series lol but I love these characters. It was nice to not have a Whitney generated plot.

Couldn’t put it down!

Hot soldiers, strong women and lots of action. I finished this book in 1 day. Now only if books could come out weekly instead of yearly 😆. I love how Christine Feehan keeps us connected to the past characters we fell in love with. I wish this was a tv series. I would love to see these characters interact every week.

It is OK. Predictable. Ghost walker series needs to retire.

I used to enjoy Feehan's books, especially the GWs. This one has a storyline that is dragged out and boring. We are told how brilliant and special the characters are, yet they are repeadedly attacked in the same place (b&b) making me question their brain capacity. Why are they not secured? Becomes tiresome. Best thing about this one is there is no creepy S&M crap that C.F has been writing the last several years since the "Shades of Gray" books (gag) came out.

Not even able to finish this one 😕

Great story

I enjoy when more than one ghostwalker is involved. Good narrator yet not near as good as Tom who began as narrator with this series.

Another good listen

I've listed to most of this series, read the rest. Jim is simply the best performer and I enjoy them even if it's not my favorite story. With an hour commute each way to and from work, more if traffic stinks, I get to listen to a lot. I enjoyed this addition to the series as well.

Excellent story, great narration

An excellent story, well written and with a great narrator. I prefer this series to some of her others. I like strong female characters and this series has them in spades. looking forward to the next installment.

Excellent

The 16th GhostWalker story is about Malichai Fortunes and Amaryllis Johnson. Malichai is forced to vacation in San Diego, California after his leg is shot to pieces when he is rescuing soldiers from harms way in Afghanistan. There a blonde haired blue eyed woman (Amaryllis) catches his attention immediately. Her innate healing abilities indicate she might be a GhostWalker—albeit an untrained one but, she saves his life and everything changes in Malichai's world. He faces having to call his brothers in and trying to stop Amaryllis from running from him all while there is a terrorist plot unvolving around them and a threat from Amaryllis's past surfaces. And just to top it off he also fighting to save his leg. Another brilliant edition in the series which I highly recommend. I love Christine's worlds and I am addicted to all of them and wouldn't mind living in all of them, she sure knows how to write an amazing story.

Lethal Game

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the narrator is very good.
The next instalment of the Ghost Walkers featuring Malachi and Amarilys. The team are called in when Malachi gets tangled in a plot where a special forces team are attempting to do serious damage at a peace convention.
