Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!?!

I was so ready for these volumes. I have so many issues with these. I skipped most of the chapters(hate fillers) I hate the wondering sage I hate the silent one the fire dragons need all of their left nuts chopped. These books were so roundabout. I wish it would have been announced that these book would be fillers I wouldn’t have bought them. Like does anyone else find it crazy in the first ten books he completely skips all the meaningless bs and now in these books we got to learn about every fudging persons life like we really care. Just get to the good stuff

engaging

progressed the story well and left an enticing cliff hanger to lead into next book.

the unique characters

good character development. and a unique magic system.
unfortunately audio is to short. so many character arcs left unresolved. including the main characters boogie men left hanging

I hate the hydradragon

I wish someone would kill it, honestly I don't understand why he hasn't punished the lizard. He just creates problems.

Great Installment.

If you like the series, you’ll love this one. Was worried the series was ending after I read a rumor online. This book makes it pretty clear there is much more to come. Great job Michael and Tom, and thanks. Look forward to next year’s

Good story line, character introductions and connecting everything together at the end.

I feel like the last book cut short. Can’t wait for the next 2 volumes

Such an amazing novel

This has been a delightful novel, one of my top three authors hate that I have to wait a whole year for the next installment in this series, but it’s definitely worth the wait.

You can skip this pack

While I really enjoy this series, these 2 books could and should have been a short story or a secondary book by itself. Unfortunately the majority of the story doesn’t move along in these books. It’s a bunch of small events with A LOT of filler dialogue. And the dialogue is pretty repetitive. I think this is the 3rd or 4th review I’ve ever left and I’ve been listening with Audible for 10 years. If that helps anyone. Again I do really enjoy the rest of the series but this one was a big let down. Oh and the narration was well done.

story is getting dark

I have really enjoyed the series but I am not sure if I will continue it. The story is getting too dark and the MC is slowly turning to the dark side. He was never a good person but it had gotten worse. He don't seem to care unless it benefits him. He don't care that some of his friends are downright evil. There was a lot of new characters in ths volume. Unfortunately, most of the old was basically forgotten or was mentioned only in passing. A lot of loose ends were cleared up so I thought maybe this was the last of the series but then some new ones were created near the end. It is no longer my type of isekai story.

As usual the narrator does a pretty good job but with the increasing number of new characters, he ran out of voices. It is starting to get confusing as to who is talking.

I can no longer recommend this story since it seems the author lost their way.
