THE BANTER!! YESSS

Eric Nolan and Samantha Brentmoor really nailed it with this one. The banter and the sass from both characters was perfect. I was laughing and giggling the whole book. The only thing I would say is the singing was so cringy for me! But that's not Samantha's fault. I know it was needed but I think just the singing with no background noise made it rough for me. But Lachlan and Lark are amazing together and brought to life with this audio book. The "multiple deleter" scene was done PERFECTLY. So excited to have my favorite series come to life.

Omgggg I love this series. I love how the characters continue to evolve and deepen. And the dark humor is incredible. I was legit spit laughing water out of my mouth. Also, who really won the show? Lark or Aunt Ethel because I think it was auntie. Chefs kiss*

legitimately didn't think I'd love this series.

Originally thought I'd like this series at most and at worst get some cheap laughs, but I actually love these books now.

If it was the same narrators from book one this would have been phenomenal however the female in this isn’t good

Omg this was amazing. I couldn’t wait for this to come out & downloaded it immediately. B&B was one of my faves & I knew this would be just as good. I was not disappointed.

Lark & Lachlan while they started off enemies & hating each other turned into a deep love story. I truly loved so many parts of this book but the audiobook made it come to life. The duet narration was amazing with the banter, laughing, & groaning-it was almost like I was watching a movie (which btw this would make a great one!)

I just felt so many emotions for Lark & Lachlan. They both had to do work on themselves to be a partner for the other. Their slow descent into a relationship from a fake marriage is one of my favorite things to have listened to in a while. The drama was drama-ing just enough. Ugh I loved it all & dare I say more than B&B even! It was spicy but not overpowering!! 4/5🔥

The audio was fantastic!!! 5/5🎙️ without question. Duet narration couldn’t be better!! I loved the singing bits and all of their banter back and forth!!

THIS is how you do audiobooks

Wow.... the way this audio was produced? where both narrators actually talk to each other during every dialogue and the background noises / laughs / moans 😗 / and SINGING???? Great story but this is hands down the best duet performance I've heard so far. I wish more audiobooks did it like this. I honestly hate it when there are two narrators but only one talks for each POV chapter and they imitate the other characters. All audiobooks pls be more like this and Butcher & Blackbird!!!!!! 🥺

Loved the story, the characters, the actors, and the Performance!! Loved loved LOVED this audiobook! The voices were perfect and the story exciting. I’m greedy and selfish so I want More!!! Can’t wait for more from this author. 💜❤️🧡

The story is not quite as good as Butcher & Blackbird but still worthy of 5 stars. Once again, this book is made perfect by the narrators. What a fun, gruesome ride!
