Much more basic than I thought...

Well written and presented but this is very basic info that I would think most people know by the time they graduate high school. It would be helpful for people who need to teach learning techniques to others, or to someone who didn't take learning seriously at all when they were younger and want to change that now.

The book has nothing to do with Einstein though.

Excellent Overview of Accelerated Learning

As a fervent learner, student of accelerated learning and teacher of advanced learning strategies I enjoyed this audiobook. Simple, easy to listen to and applicable techniques make it an excellent introductory overview of the topic.

Fantastic techniques to learn anything faster, and better.

Loved it, I have bought several books, which included some of the lessons taught here, however, the author explained the techniques better and in much more detail. Would definitely buy other books by Peter!

Not at all about Einstein's learning methods!

This book was merely regurgitated new age self help tips mixed with some study methods that have been around for a while. The author references Einstein once or twice, but does not enlighten us to his unique learning system as the title would suggest. Unremarkable at best, just like any other study guide in print, with the exception of the name!

Good Reference for Learning

It's a concise book with basic tips on learning, such as try different learning methods to see which works best for you (e.g., seeing graphs and images, reading books/writing notes, listening to lectures, studying alone, or studying with a group). To read faster, stop sub-vocalizing (saying the words in your head), look at the 2-3 words at time, and get used to understanding the group of words without having to say them. The tips for memorizing and focusing are widely known, such as using mnemonics and blocking time.

Effective study methods

I've developed some of the same methods for myself that the author recommends. I think he's right on. I don't know if there are more methods out there. But there are good learning tactics in this book. This would be very useful for young students, high school, college, and adult students, and anyone who needs to learn something quickly. It's a short book and did not take long to complete.

Useful tips

There are some interesting parts and useful suggestions. Learning is committing to long term memory and that requires repetition. No easy way around this.

worth every penny
