A very provocative book, I chose to listen to audiobooks because I had such a difficult time with reading, but after listening to this, I can read books considerably more effectively. Plus, I’m enjoying reading a whole lot more nowadays.

Proven Speed Reading Techniques had me going from being an individual who read every word in my head to a more efficient reader able to pick out keywords and phrases. This audiobook is a great tool to increase your reading speed. I was definitely pleased to have ordered this little nugget of a book. It includes plenty of advice to help just about anyone who feels they could do better with their reading speed. As recommended, I read a chapter a day. This audiobook is truly a work of genius, and I don't say that lightly. Before this audiobook, I would read at a snail’s pace. Not because that's all I was capable of, but because I never learned how to properly read as an adult. From just listening to this audiobook in one pass, I've increased my reading speed by at least 4 times. Not only that, but I remember more information that I read because I have to maintain focus and concentration to be able to read so fast.
