Publisher's summary

Rose was waiting tables at Ken’s All-Nite Diner in Keokuk, Iowa, circa 1959, when something happened that would change her life forever. Two men burst through the front door, fighting for their lives. Though it was morning, she could see stars in the nighttime sky through the doorway as the door closed behind them. The larger of the two men quickly gained the advantage, knocking the smaller man unconscious before running out of the diner. Rose, a student nurse, quickly patched up the injured man, and when an ambulance arrived, insisted on riding with him to the hospital. His name was Henry Martin, according to his driver’s license, though both the license and the money in his wallet are dated some 60 years in the future.

There’s something else, too - a portable telephone that plays music and seems to have a miniature color television inside. Just who is Henry Martin, where did he get these things, and why is someone trying to kill him?

Leap Year

This was an excellent book.It was full of a lot of sci fi goodness.A secret society is after a man born on leap year.He doesn't age as usual and can do very cool things. He just wants a normal life. Elizabeth R. Taylor was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

A book with a time travel twist and a great plot!

When Rose a waitress in a small town in Iowa is working two men fall into the door fighting as one knocked out the other and Ron door she quickly goes this side to help as she is a nursing student. She also goes with him to the hospital feeling some sort of pool somethings she has not felt with anyone else. What confuses Rose though is that his license says his name is Henry and he has money in his wallet but all of it say it’s from a distance date in the future and she’s never seen the song phone before, because Ruth is in the 1960s. When the man comes to she finds out his real name is Gavin and he tells her yes he is from the future, but Rose doesn’t want to believe it. Eventually she does. Unfortunately The big man comes back to finish the job, but unfortunately the only thing that will be over is his life. Now they are all the Ron Gavin and Rose must find a door they can walk through to go back to the future. Before they leave though but she will get to meet his biological father who comes to visit, horrible man who don’t want them to go anywhere and more twists and turns the but kept me glued to my phone listening to the book. I loved the narrator and the story is so very original, but not just original it’s so good. I thought they would have many reviews talking about how great this audiobook was and was surprised to see there was only one… Why this book is awesome! Go listen for yourself. I freaking loved it!
