Elicia Hyder never fails to entertain, whether I'm reading her books or listening to them on audiobooks. I highly recommend you reading this book, plus any of the other ones written by her, you will not be disappointed. I Love the narrator as well she doesn't excellent job in my opinion.

Wow!! Where do I even begin?!
Fresh off the Soul Summoner series (which I loved and adored), Detached is like a whole new field!
Saphera Nyx robbed her brother of his destiny and now she’s left with a “gift” she never wanted. I can’t wait to see what happens next for Nyx, Essex, Ransom and Bess! We need more Bess lol
The narrator is perfect! I love her voices for male characters (I struggle with some denial narrators and their male voices).

Amazing!

Elicia Hyder did it again. I was worried I might not like it as much as her Soul Summoner series, but I am hooked! I can't wait for the next book.

Detached — Narrated by Eva Kaminsky

This is my first introduction to Eva Kaminsky, and I’m incredibly grateful that I have a ton of credits saved up! I loved her narration, and I’m so excited to buy the next book and audio in the series.

Eva had great voice distinction between characters, including those of the same gender. I could always tell when she was speaking the dialogue and monologue of the main character as well.

I love her voice as Nyx, the heroine, even though I initially had pictured someone with more of a rasp. She played the role great and inserted a bit of “warmth”(? ... well, a je ne sais quoi.) Regardless, I think she suits Nyx just fine.

The only think I noticed that was slightly off is that Eva tends to end her sentences with a bit of a rasp or something? It didn’t really bother me and I’ve heard other narrators for this too. It’s just interesting because you think there might be more to the sentence.

I like her male characters too—which is something I often worry about with narrators. But, she really transitioned smoothly between the roles.

I love how bubbly she made Bess, one of the secondary characters. I think I even detected a slight Southern lilt too, which was great for continuity. The other minor players sounded good too.

Overall, Eva did an amazing job!

A wonderful read as always.

Ok,I listened to this book for the second time, and this time I loved it. But the reader is ruining this story. She tries to make it too dramatic!
The story is riveting enough on own.

Great book and voice actor

I have been looking forward to reading this book, and thankfully I was not disappointed. This book was so good!!! It was really hard turning off and going to bed at night. I’m not going to give any spoilers, but I just wanted to say I really loved this book.
I have read all of Elicia Hyder’s books and love them all. It’s really hard picking your favorite. I guess my favorite seems to always be the last one I read. Cannot wait for the next one to come out!
