Helpful guidance

This book lives up to the title. It’s a toolkit for new managers. Some may be aware of some of the tips and principles you can still struggle to apply them day to day. A handy guide.

Very helpful asset!

This is a great asset for new managers and supervisors. It is broken down into 12 chapters – these cover all aspects of leadership, from managing the team, dealing with difficult customers and even managing your own boss! You can read it in order or just dip into the selected chapter in you need help in that area. It’s really up to you to use these principals in real life consistently.

Contained practical information

It's a great book to read, The author clearly shows the difference between a leader and just another manager. A leader is a teacher and leads by example. I will try to apply all the tips and day to day advice that are in this book.

Interesting listen

An interesting book for supervisors and managers who have recently been promoted or moved onto a new company. If you want to make your mark in the first month, this easy to listen guide is for you. I really liked the chapter on dealing with resources from other countries and cultures – an extremely important resource in this global world.

This is an intelligent and helpful audiobook

A wonderful audiobook for anyone in a leadership position. I have only been applying what I learned in the audiobook for a short time and I am beginning to notice the difference in me and my team. Inspiring book

There are just a few people who were born as a real leader. Most of us need to learn and practice those skills. This book was exactly what I needed to become a better leader to my team. I highly recommend it to all managers and team leaders.
