Dope concept.

Loved the diversity of and the Afro-futurism; like an inverse of the movie "Minority Report."

Actors were better than most dramatization. Story was rushed. but well worth the time.

The Concept

I loved the idea of a utopian Black Nation. I loved the realness felt like I was there. Wish I was there. Not a fan of the racism but overall great storyline.

This book is about the state of our country right now, and these authors created a country where people can strive. I loved it. Great listen ♥️

Reversed Racial Bigotry coined national pride/ Nationalism / Patriotism

I enjoyed the flip on challenging themes presented in Kingsland. I could understand the pride in finally having a nation to call your own where things were “equal” for ethnically Black Kinglanders.
Yet as you listened from the beginning it wasn’t equal. For instance if you’d been in trouble with the law you weren’t a candidate for this new all black nation which meant being left to die or keep clawing for a piece of self respect dignity and a piece of “the dream” in anerica….
Al of the stipulations were meant to keep in the right kinds of people and out the wrong kind….Thats been the American way since its inception.
I truly enjoyed taking the ride with this new audio short story. I had to delve into my own heart and mind on this one. It made you think, could you live in this nation could you thrive and raise a family???More importantly would I have been chosen at all?

Great antagonist vs protagonist duel!

it was a great story line that is outside of the normal "Superman, savior" narrative. I would like to hear more along this line of story telling!

This book was well crafted. Good plot, great acting, and well produced. I'm looking forward to alot more.

Engaging

Enjoyed the suspenseful plot. Interesting to see racism continued. History is important to teach children so that the future can be better and not continue the cycle of prejudices.

Great plot with a riveting story line. I would like to see follow up stories involving Kingsland and Detective Wright. It had mystery and intrigue with a enough action that was just right.
