Loved the back & forth in time frames. The character development. Their struggles and even the narrator. Want more similar tales

Captivating

I love the way Ella Berman tells a story. After listening to her previous books, I preordered this title. I listened to this in a day. Her writing captivates me. The characters in the book are so well developed. I highly recommend.

Perfect narration/ extraordinary story

Friendship/ love affairs/ the trauma of childhood that shapes us all and how to grow/ to forgive/ to reclaim oneself with understanding and forgiveness of family/ lovers and oneself,
All in the golden sunlight of Laurel Canyon 1970’s.

It seemed to be a rehash of the relationship between Joan Didion and Eve Babitz…

If you’ve read anything by or about Joan Didion, you know this story nothing new here I would pass on it…
