Wicked!

SO crazy, how out of control moms can get in private school! Talk about ALL ABOUT ME! Wealth distorts our way of thinking when we are young, hot and the tiniest bit self-centered or selfish. The sociopath was a GREAT twist in here! Just fantastic! Very entertaining!

January LaVoy is one of the best narrators there is! Pure magic!!!

Beautiful writing, hilarious! I do not think there should be a word minimum for leaving an Audible review. I have said all I wanted to say. Perhaps Audible is disregarding the cliché about brevity!

Addictive and fun

I read this is literally two days. Loved the ridiculous characters and the mystery woven in.

Fun glimpse into mom dynamics!

These are the moms and dynamics at most schools, competitiveness, catty, helicopter moms. The characters are great and the story kept me captivated!

Liked Bad Summer People better.

Intriguing story. Love the narrator, but hard to keep the characters straight. A couple of crossover Easter eggs with characters from Bad Summer People.

Drama, Gossip, and a touch of Maliciousness

After reading some heavier books, I needed something light and this was perfect. The story is fun as it revolves around a group of over the top mothers, trying to maintain their social status at their children’s school. It’s a combination of drama, gossip, and grown up middle schoolers being caddy and obnoxious - with a heavy dose of maliciousness. It’s like reading about the characters from Gossip Girl as adults, still competing, back stabbing, and trying to outshine each other.

The characters are great, even if some are very annoying, as I am sure was intended. Their antics, business ideas, and theme parties were really fun.

I listened to this on audio and particularly liked all the voices and discussions in the school’s WhatsApp group. It was a fun book, and if you want to be entertained by some drama, pettiness, and gossip, I recommend it.

I want a sequel! This novel was engaging and had an unexpected twist. I am now a fan of this author and can't wait to read more from her!

PTA Drama Served with a Side of Champagne and Shade

It’s juicy, wickedly funny, and just scandalous enough to make you text your best friend mid-chapter. The narrator? Flawless — she serves the snark and suspense like she’s been saving it for you. I devoured it in one sitting and already want seconds.

quick sassy read

Well told story that locked me in quick and was fun to come back to. It captured that East Coast NYC feeling well. Just as the title infers, this is a good soap opera and it captures all the "Mom" personalities.
