"May Cobb’s most explosive book yet. And trust me, that’s saying a lot." — Jeneva Rose
"Nobody does explosive and twisted like May Cobb does it." —Lisa Jewell
Adults can behave badly too...
It's the mid-1980s in the tiny town of Longview, Texas. Nellie Anderson, the beautiful daughter of the Anderson family dynasty, has burst onto the scene. She always gets what she wants. What she can’t get for herself… well, that’s what her mother is for. Because Charleigh Andersen, blond, beautiful, and ruthlessly cunning, remembers all too well having to claw her way to the top. When she was coming of age on the poor side of East Texas, she was a loser, an outcast, humiliated, and shunned by the in-crowd, whose approval she’d so desperately thirsted for. When a prairie-kissed family moves to town, all trad wife, woodworking dad, wholesome daughter vibes, Charleigh’s entire self-made social empire threatens to crumble.
Who will be left standing when the dust settles?
From the author of The Hunting Wives comes a deliciously wicked new thriller about mean girls, mean moms, and the delicious secrets inside all the little houses.

Book Review 📚✨
All the Little Houses by May Cobb was my first book by this author—and wow, I did not see that twist coming! 😮💥

I first discovered this book after watching The Hunting Wives on Netflix 📺. When I found out May Cobb was doing a book signing at Twig Bookstore, I HAD to go meet her and grab a copy—and I’m so glad I did! 🛍️💖

Set in the tiny town of Longview, East Texas during the mid-1980s, this story is hot, dusty, and packed with secrets… 🌵🔥🤫

The narrators were amazing too—they truly brought the story to life 🎧✨. I would absolutely read (and listen to!) another book by May Cobb! 💕📖

I loved this story line. I was laughing and there were jaw dropping moments throughout. I did not like the changes in Charleigh’s voice towards the end of the book. Very obvious it was a different voice. I have recommended this book to several friends!

The story itself wasn’t too bad, I did expect more but it was ehhh. The part that got me was the narrator (s). I think that could’ve helped the read, immensely. I did finish the book and the VERY ending was good.

The narration was very off putting!

Good book! Really all I can say without giving anything away. Good listen. Could make a good Netflix series.

Need the sequal

I have loved all May Cobb’s books so far and was excited to get into this one! Another Texas neighborhood drama- my favorite trope! I loved how it was set in the 80’s! I love all the characters and their POV, the narrators were great for all! I love the drama and was shocked by who died! I was guessing all along but didn’t guess that once! I wish the ending was more thorough! I want to know what happened! It was kind of rushed- just over and I was like “wait, what?!” Maybe another book in the series?! That’s my only hiccup, is the ending left many questions unanswered and many people left without their comeuppance and I’d like to see that. Overall great read, just like I expected!

Love May Cobb’s Texas neighborhood thrillers!
