Publisher's Summary

Sheriff Brady Schell has never allowed himself to fall in love. He's never so much as been with another man - it's too risky. Ever since he was abandoned as a baby for being an omega, he's understood that to allow yourself to get close to someone means to put your emotional safety on the line. Now 36 and unbonded, his omega instincts are pulling at him, urging him to find a lover - and if he's truthful with himself, he's had his eye on the much younger Shane Raynor ever since he wrote Shane his first speeding ticket.

Shane Raynor is hell on wheels - and he knows it. An alpha's alpha, he works hard, and he plays hard, channeling his hot temper into the fast and furious sport of drag racing. He never backs down from a challenge, and he never fails to challenge himself to help out a friend in need. His heart of gold makes him the perfect candidate to raise the baby that is unexpectedly left on his doorstep.

It's not his child. He's absolutely sure of it. But that doesn't stop Shane from falling in love with the little sweetheart, demanding Brady's help in cutting through the red tape so that Shane can claim the baby permanently as his own son.

But raising a child is hard work, especially when you're a new, under-prepared father. When Brady offers to help, Shane isn't going to turn him down. And when Brady offers his heart, Shane is going to have to step up and prove that when love is involved, the promise of a forever family is worth the risk.

Knot the Sheriff is a wolf shifter mpreg romance audiobook with a guaranteed happily ever after. It is the fifth audiobook in the Howling Hills Heat series, where finding your fated mate isn't just a dream - it's destiny. This audiobook and every other audiobook in the Howling Hills Heat series can be listened to in any order.

Love and knot ?

Shane values his independence even if other Alphas have partners and families. He doesn’t care ...he values independence yeah ! Right? A baby changes that in man especially if found in on his property. Throw in a Sheriff omega that knows the feeling of abandonment but with omega genes . The trial is on will Shane ultimate happiness.....

Smoking Hot! Loved it!

Knot the Sheriff is a sweet steamy hot well paced story! Brady and Shane both seemed satisfied with their lives and neither really looking for anything or anyone in particular. That is until Shane finds a tiny abandoned baby on his doorstep and calls the sheriff for help. Neither knew at the time that they had actually found what they we’re both missing!
This is a super hot addictive story that I couldn’t stop listening to till the very end! The sweet sexy hot characters along with a fantastic storyline really made this a very enjoyable audiobook! I also thought narrator Bump Turgeson did an incredible job bringing this story to life with his sexy voice making it a very enjoyable audiobook! Great job!!!

Another great story in the Howling Hills story

I've enjoyed all of Liam Kingley's books. Knot the Sheriff is likely the best of the series. I don't believe in replaying the story in my reviews so I'll just say that the characters are well developed, the story line brings in characters from the earlier books, and the narration was good. I would recommend the whole series, especially Knot the sheriff.

This may be a perfectly fine example of the genre

I should have realized before starting this book that it was a shifter mpreg romance, a genre that doesn't particularly appeal to me.

I expect it's a decent example of the genre, so I don't want to dissuade anyone who does appreciate such stories from listening.

As always, the best part was the extraordinary narration by Bump Turgeson. 5 stars for his performance.

Cute story

"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review."

The story kept me interested and wanting to find out the ending. I liked both main characters and want to find out about the characters mentioned from previous books. I enjoyed the narrator as well, he did a good job and was easy on the ears.

Another hit in this great series

I enjoyed this Audible story from the opening right till the ending. I must say that Mr. Turgenson's narration added a real listening enjoyment for me to this book. He turned it into a story and brought it to life for this listener. I know I usually add some form of praise for the narrator of one of my reviews of an Audible book. But I have to say that their are very few narrator's who make me feel like the book came to life.
Anyway, This was a very well written, with detailed characters, the story flowed effortlessly. I am totally enthralled with this series of books so far. An avid listener/reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

Pleasantly surprised

I’m wary of shifter mpreg stories for various reasons but a Knot the Sheriff averted all those problems. The omega men here aren’t thinly disguised women and I got to see the men fall in love instead of just being told they’re mates. And seeing these two macho men go ga ga for a baby was adorable. My one complaint was that the external conflict that threatened the HEA was dealt with off page.

Shane and Brady

This has to be one of my favorites out of the series. I've been watching Shane from book one. He's a bit of a Peter Pan. He's loud, obnoxious, immature and more than a bit conceited. Being called to Shane's home because of an abandoned baby hits Brady a little to close to home. Most of the book we see both of these guys struggle. Shane is shedding his boyish ways to become an adult and father and Brady has to come to terms with his abandonment issues and self-preservation techniques that build walls between them. I liked that Nyle once again shows he truly is the leader by helping Brady see himself and his relationship with Shane clearly. The whole pack comes together to support the guys as they start their family.

Audiobook: The narrator is very clear and his cadence is nice and steady. The man has quite the way with the bedroom scenes.

So Knot What I Expected!

Liam Kingsley always provides an entertaining story, and this certainly fits into that category. Just, wow! What a plotline!

The sheriff is an older omega, the alpha is younger, and according to the sheriff, irresponsible.

If that is true, why did an unknown omega dad leave his newborn omega son on the alpha's doorstep?

Instant dad? Alpha protective instincts hit hard, and he is determined to care for and protect this tiny shifter. But he needs help to keep the infant legally. Cue the sheriff...

And the narrator, Bump Turgeson is incredible! You experience every breath, every feel... he doesn't just tell it, he shows it! I'll definitely be looking for more books read by him.

Amazing variation for an amazing story.

I have always been a big fan of the howling hills box and this was no exception. It was another wonderful story with everything you could want from an MPREG book. But I have to admit the incredible narration brought the story to life better than anyone I had ever heard before. I drive a lot for work and listening to books is my go to. I have never felt more a part of the story at any other time. I can’t wait to listen to more

Lots of danger and intrigue

I got this as a free download from Audiofreebies and having read books 1-4, listening to book 5 definitely added to the book. Shane is as Alpha as they come which means when Brodie is left on his doorstep all his protective instincts take over. But can he hold his growling Alpha at bay long enough to accept the help he needs from Sheriff Brady or will his defences kick in putting them all in danger? As Sheriff, Brady frequently forgets that he is an Omega not an Alpha, but when he is near Shane his Omega just wants to play...can he keep himself under control long enough to protect Brodie or will he succumb to the Alpha?

Fabulous

This is a fabulous book to listen to as I really enjoyed following Shane as learns that Brady is more than an annoying cop who keeps stopping him as they both deal with the arrival of Blaine. Brady has a few hand ups and takes a bit of time to deal with their situation once they mate as well as watching a new pack in town. Narrator brought the story to life.

A young Alpha and the Sheriff...

Sheriff Brady is always stopping Shane for speeding. Shane is young and impetuous. But when he needs help his bet bet is the Sheriff, the toughest omega in town. It was great to see this big bad boy being tender and fatherly. I guess that’s what draws Brady in. They have their drama, they fight but they also love hard. Awesome pack and good friends. Even if this is my first book read on the series, it was easy get into it. I will be getting the other books. And the narrator, God that voice! All deep and sexy.
