Great second chance at love!

Skylar and Troy's story is such a great second chance at love. They definitely work for their happy ending but it just made me happy at the end. Now Kip Henderson did a great job in the narration. I enjoy listening to this story.

What a great story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this well-written romance. Skylar and Troy find an enduring love despite the many obstacles placed in their paths, including those they put up themselves. Their HEA is very satisfying. I’m sad for Troy’s dad, and admit to a hope that his mom gets hers for being a horrible, hateful creature. And I wish I could read Tanner’s and Angelo’s love story. The performance was great, except for a few flubs, and a number of awkward pauses, probably the result of poor editing of the audio file in those empty spots. Still, Henderson read it well overall.

What troubles can come in one night!

Skylar is an Omega. Troy is an Alpha. They had a one night stand and consequences followed.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters are well written and the plot is entering. I do believe there is a lot of drama and mistrust but it is understandable within the storyline.

Second chance romance**sigh**❤❤

I will be adding this to my relisten list! I adore the idea of people getting a second chance with their love and these two didn't disappoint. Mr. Henderson with that sexy voice and great storytelling ability, I felt like we were sitting together while he told me their life story.

better than i was expecting

Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes
What did I like about the story? Good pace, interesting characters and well written. I'm satisfied Troy and Skyler's personal growth throughout this book will put them on a path to true happiness.

Overall comment: As a young and determined alpha, with a strong sense of responsibility, Troy's behaviour at running from Skyler didn't sit right with me, however his explanation felt valid if somewhat selfish, his actions though, turned my opinion of him and I felt he is worthy of Skyler in the end.

Narrator comment: Kip Henderson has done a good job narrating The Time Between Us. I felt the emotion and chemistry between the characters and he bought the book to life. That being said, I have become more familiar with narrators giving different voices (and sound) to each character, this isn't one of those types of narration. The personalities of each of the characters are what gave the different voice more so than the individual sound and I found if i wasn't concentrating on the story I lost track of which character was speaking.

Enjoyable!

This is an enjoyable, fast-paced story. The characters are interesting, and complex with the narrator doing a great job of bringing them to life. The authors have created a world that is intriguing. This story is at times heartbreaking but full of determination, hope, and love. An enjoyable story worth giving a listen.

very good story

oh man this was amazing. it was well narrated and a lot of fun to listen to. i smiled and laughed several times. the narrator made me smile. the writing was wonderful and the characters were very different and interesting. i enjoyed it so much

Interesting take on the shifter world

I really enjoyed this story and the little bit of a different take on shifters and mpreg. I wish the entire pregnancy was included and i do hope there is a sequel because i feel like it was a bit of a rushed ending.

Really enjoyed my second audio by these guys and by a new narrator for me, Kip Henderson! I really got into this one...was sad when it ended..Kip did a great job bringing these characters to life and bringing their story to my ears! I will look forward to reading another by both the authors and the narrator!

What a good story

What a sweet story about Skylar, an omega sent away from his home as a teenager that is finally able to find a family of his own choosing. It's sad that Troy, his alpha turned away from him the first time but I love that he finally steps up and becomes the strong man he needs to be for his family. I also really love that most of Troy's family have their back.

I look forward to the next book in the series. I really enjoyed the story but I'm not really a fan of the first person, active voice of the writing.
