great story, not a fan of the sex tho LMFAO

the narrator was good, and it had a really nice story, but just every one in a while they had sex and it kinda through off from the story imo

SJW Romance Template

Narration was good.

Rina loves Axel. Axel loves Rina. Now if they can only say it to each other by Valentine's day. Diversity is the flavor of the day and violence is to be conquered. Still wondering why it was called the "kissing game" since the theme wasn't carried on throughout the text. This is the SJW perfect template for romance.

I wanted to like this story but...

What I like:

Thank you for taking time to craft Rena story and bring her to life. I appreciate that Rena and Axel were normal people a hairdresser and auto body shop worker.


For romance stories, majority of the stories I purchase will have a black woman lead getting her happily ever after. I will purchase this book because an ally who wrote a black woman's happily ever after.

I enjoyed this story because Rena received her happily ever after, Axel was sweet and Alpha all at the same time.

I disagree with another reviewer, I felt that the skinhead trope was relevant to the current racial climate in USA.

What I don't like:

This story has too much extra. for Rena story there are too many typical black story trope:
There was the teen pregnant black mother trope. there was the deadbeat dad trope. single parent raised. Black mother with to many men in out of said single mom home. There was the trope about black mom with the nasty temper, etc, etc.

Also wish voice actress was black, for Rena authentic voice.Would have preferred a male voice for Axel as well.


If this writer writes another interracial romance with a black woman lead, I will check her out again.

Not the Usual Characters

I really liked that for once the male hero with an accent isn’t a bad guy, He’s just a regular guy with problems making the best of life. His initial shyness in pursuing the heroine is cute. What he doesn’t know is that she wants him. Once he decides to pursue what he wants he doesn’t give up till he has her. Touches on real life issues, Enjoyed this story!

I couldn’t finish it

So slow and boring I think the author ran out of ideas in chapter 3

Do Not Waste Your Time

This book is so bad. The plot is sloppy. The love story lacks chemistry and is underdeveloped. The writing is clunky and the character development is just average. This book is so boring and the author obviously had no idea how to write an interracial romance without going with a white supremacy trope. It’s just so bad. No part of me wanted to finish this. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ Worst book I’ve read in a long time. The German narration is so poorly done. This was difficult to get through.
